I can't find so-called reminder list or currency converter anywhere! Does anyone who owns an A62 have these on their phone?? Hey Siemens!! Why don't YOU answer a few of these questions?? Could be useful!

nice, basic phone - which is all i wanted. Fits snugly in my hand when i want to text etc; maybe others had probs getting sim updates; took a day or so, but I got em all - then, Preeya, your inbox and draft etc functions will work; tho i suppose you've sorted that out by now!

I just got this phone (for free) when I (forcefully) needed to change phones since the network I'm subscribed to is going to change systems.
The phone is HELL.
- It is slow (menu's/updates/etc)
- Buttons are freaking to small and very prone to miss hits.
- Phone itself is very small and not designed to be hold in one hand and press buttons with your thumb (unless you have a small child's hand that is)
- Navigation and menu's are NOT userfriendly at all in any way! And you need to press all sort of buttons to do a simple task.
- Some of the memory is filled with useless (English) predefined sms texts; no way to delete or even change those.
- (ring)tones are too silent. Though you can change the volume, it isn't really audible in practice
- Turning phone on/off is slow (and you NEED to give each time a confirmation, otherwise your phone turns back off.. stupid "aircraft mode")
- etc...
I have found NO advantages AT ALL for this phone (for me) compared to my old Nokia 5130!* They can give back my old Nokia 5130 (brick) any time!
*Except for the looks of it maybe.

preeya you need to get a sim update. when you first switch on the phone after charging you should recieve 4 text messages which are the sim update. If this does not happen, (which is what happened to me,) you need to contact your vendor who will contact the network providor and they will send the update to you phone.

can anybody help?! there's no 'New SMS' option on my A62 and it switiches off whenever i try to access the Inbox, Unsent and Drafts. So basically i cant send any messages at all unless its predefined. I've only just got it so is it faulty. Thanx...

Despite what everyone else has said, I like this phone. My grandmother has received it as a Christmas present, upgraded from a nokia brick, and at 29 quid plus free airtime (on orange) you can't really go wrong with a phone. It is simple to use, its slim, and it has enough features for it not to be too boring. Well done Siemens!

Right, i feel like just throwing this phone in the flipping thames... I hate it!
I can't frigging delete old voicemail...And i can't even send a decent msg.. when i look in the book, it keeps refering me to the predifined msgs, i don't want that!... i flipping what to right my own msgs, i can't do a SPACE TAB, so all the msgs i've sent lookslikethis,allmessedupandstuff

Right i just bought this phone (because my last one was broken when i put it in the washing machine... and then tumble dryer) and i have to turn it on every 2 hours, because it turns its self off every 2 hours... the screen has developed a red line down it too (keep in mind i havent had this phone a week) not only that but the buttons are fiddly and prone to "miss clicks" and i have already called moutian rescue while it was in my pocket (yeh key lock is great) in all honestly if you have this phone and it works for you great otherwise get a good phone, im just going to flush mine down the toilet because thats all its good for.

it has an SMS Archive, that means u can move sms from inbox/outbox to archive and store as much as u want to (using share memory)

Compared with A50 it's unbeliveble!
Solid case, nice and stable buttons, polyphonic sound, decent screen, GPRS, few good function at low price! I'm planning to buy one 4 my father!
Excelent & recomanded 4 beginner class!
