3GSM 2007

3GSM World Congress 2007

The 3GSM World Congress in Barcelona ended on February 15-th after gathering an estimated total of 55,000 people (10% more than last year) from all over the world at a showcase of the latest and greatest in the mobile communications industry. More than 1,300 exhibitors took part in the event, organized by the GSM Association. Over 2,250 media representatives plunged into the action and reported live straight from the source. The Barcelona authorities and public transport managed with a remarkable ease to host a wide-scale event as the 3GSM Congress.

Several mobile handset awards were given this year. The "Best GSM Mobile Handset or Device" title went to the Samsung D900 while the two "Best 3GSM Mobile Handset or Device" awards went to the Sony Ericsson K800 and the Samsung Z560. The Motorola MOTOFONE 3 snatched the new "Best Ultra Low Cost Handset" award for its innovative design and technology. The 3GSM World Congress 2008 will be held again in Barcelona next year.

The Motorola F3 is the featureless set and it is no way near the friendliness. It is the request for Motorola to kindly announce how to delete messages as well call dialed numbers from F3 handset.
