I just got the V88i and comparing the functions to the V80, the v88i's functions do not seems to be an improvement, but a step back. No Fm radio with.
The only complaint I have is the functions has not improved but gotten worse.
If you are thinking of getting a cheap 3G phone this would be it. If you don't need the 3G function I suggest sticking to the V80.
Where did you get the this is a Windows OS mobile phone??
to confirm you questions it is NOT a windows OS phone.
if you look for the Asus V80 just add the feature of 3G and more stability in processing and that is just all about it.
is the phone really powered by windows mobile 2006 professional?or is it the Asus Interface where you see the UGLIEST ICONS in a cellphone?like my previous V80...
windows mobile 2006 normally runs on a 240X320 pixel resolution so i doubt if d info are true..
176X220 display is below standards these days..
This is not a touch screen phone
No news on Asus V88i yet here in the philippines, it's just new in taiwan so give it a little more time, ^_^
It's really a great design...but WTF no WiFi??
Hopefully it's a mistake. GSMArena also reported that the P526 doesn't have Wifi but infact it does.
OMG! This is the ONE i've been waiting for. Can't wait...my v80 will retire anytime. Uma, is this available now in any welcom stores? Tnx
is it really touch screen? (quite small screen)
Yey the 1st one to post,
Another Asus V series phone that is sure to hit!!!
3G added form the previous Asus V80 is a sure great phone, with great features for students this is sure to hit young students.
Expected price 11k pesos or 220 dollars.
This can handle up to 2GB and even 4GB even though it's not recomended.
The only con for me is that they made it with joystick not a arrow keypad
For me this is 9 our of 10
