Although the first ever Samsung phone was the SH-100, GSMArena only has phones released in the US, and the SH-100 was made in Korea, making the SGH-250 the first-ever Samsung phone to be released in the US.

The classic GSM-Supporting Samsung phone! Released in 1996, the SGH-250 was from the Samsung SGH series. Unlike other Samsung models, this phone was not like a phone at all. It's like a very old cellphone with a very few things on it.
