Apparently its an interesting phone. But i have a question. Can applications like VIBER work on this BB device??
Mik3yD, 01 Feb 2013Lets see what you say after Blackberry goes bankrupt. the stock already dropped almost 25% sin... moreThe reason the stock dropped is because there are investors of all types, some long term some short. Those such as my self who bought in at $8 a share may not be the most technically inclined individuals aka old school, and only wished to profit off of the speculation towards the release. It's called taking profits and moving on to whatever floats your boat. Myself however being of a younger generation and having worked in telecommunications for a good majority of my life understand that this is a long term position of benefits. I'm not going to continue to educate you through a cell phone website on corporate strategy, licensing strategy, and the fact that the new bb10 platform on qnx is the most solid and versatile, not only mobile but computing platform to have been created since linux. If the the hardware dose not appeal, they have already received purchasing offers from 3rd party for their production patents and assembly assets. If bb10 was all of a sudden an option on a galaxy s3, you'd be a fool to not think it would outperform its android counterpart. Yes apps are lacking rite now but they've gotten 70,000 in 3 weeks, android and apple have 700,000 after how many years? Patience is truly a virtue you do not possess.
Mik3yD, 01 Feb 2013I see Blackberry is still manufacturing typewriters. This company is the laughing stock of the... moreWhat do you think of an email and talk communication device? A Tank or a car? it is made for Email it better have a typing source on it, not poking fingures like idiots on the glass. we are already sick and tired of this kind of expert opinions. give us a break now.
The battery is actually 2100 not 1800.
It will have 4G depending on if you live in a region where your carriers provide it.
This is a typewriter for big time communication. (even though this has touch screen as well.
They also have the Z10 which is a pure touchscreen with not one button on the face for those of you whole like those kind of things
Not everybody needs or wants 5+in screens. Don't talk when you have not experienced the phone/OS. The market will decide the fate of this.
I have used BB Playbook and the OS is good though the app store really lacks in comparison to the Playstore.

When you come out of your iphone bubble then come and criticize blackberry
yeah its so amazing... mind blowing... its my love at first sight... :)
optical track pad is missing i guess this time blackberry will b totally wiped out from the market any ways i will buy 1 and use atleast but don't think it will be a success .
Wow! BB is making improvement. for the first time BB is having secondary camera, Radio and Java at same time. 9ce!
Derp, 01 Feb 2013We got a badass business expert here guys.........Lets see what you say after Blackberry goes bankrupt. the stock already dropped almost 25% since Z10/Q10 announcement. Usually at a launch event..stock prices go up not down lol.
Scottfc, 01 Feb 2013I very much like these things you call typewriters and I know that many other people also pref... moreI totally agree! I am a physical keyboard lover and I prefer it for typing rather than the virtual keyboard which is prone to mistyping.
I really don't understand all the spiteful comments of people calling this phone a "typewriter". You know, there are actually a lot of people (like myself) who simply hate typing on a touchscreen and who actually don't use their phones solely to brainwash themselves with Facebook. This phone is simply perfect for users who want a combination of business and pleasure.
