Jay, 09 Sep 2017I also use the same phone. As for the play store, I downloaded it off Mobogenie Store (android... moreI was so displeased with the Xiaomi Redmi Note4 UI, overhyped 13mp back camera and 4100mAh and I decided to explore Gionee world, starting with gionee f103L, 1gb/16gb.
I never knew Gionee f103 has a 'chameleon' attributes: having a few sweet features on the surface BUT horrible deficiencies not easily noticed. I was really stunned by the white Amigo UI and the clarity of the back camera, just 8mp but clean capture. I never knew the phone is such terrible being stucked with only 2G (Edge).
I've searched info on the internet, did a lot things to force on 3G but all to no avail. Still in my quest, I flashed another ROM and this made it worse as my sim cards were no longer recognized, no more network signals and IMEI disappeared. After going thru serious rigour I was able to get the IMEI restored and sim recognized again. BUT THE 2G ISSUE IS NAUGHTY.
I use the phone at the moment for only whatsapp and other petty stuffs: THOUGH MY BATTERY STILL HOLDS HOURS.
MY ADVICE: PLEASE, IF YOU REALLY HAVE OTHER OPTIONS, DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE.... except it's a must.

Jimmy, 05 Sep 2017please my Gionee f103 doesn't browse very fast, it works on only 2G network, the battery drain... moreI also use the same phone. As for the play store, I downloaded it off Mobogenie Store (android app). You can also download Play store and Google play services off your mobile browser and install it. However the downside is that it may not open but anyways it has been installed and trust me you won't have issues with GPS or using other apps that depend on Google Play services.
And about the 2G network, its really a pain in the ass! I face that too. If you have a working router, better make use of it because 2G network sucks! Or better still do away with the device!

How can I update my gionee f103 1gb ram from lollipop...... And also some applications are not installing on my phone? Pls help
