I've been nothing but disappointed with my Pixel 6 Pro, doubt that will be the case when I switch to a 14 Pro Max later this month.

As for Android phones, it's not recommended to pay too much, instead you have many choices to choose.
And if you handle the phone normally, normal android phones last for as long as iPhone too.
Disappointed, 23 Mar 2023I try to buy a new phone as rarely as possible, so I usually go through a lot of research and ... moreYou may be right tho I'll never go with Samsung as for reasons below:
1. Too expensive mostly just for cameras
2. Battery life is not that great
3. Bloatware - Harder to flash other rom

Last time I checked with them about availability of stock of some model, they just said they don't have it anymore, and not even planning to restock either.
That turned me off for sure.
Anonymous, 30 May 2023Want to get one, but it will highly depend on current pricing.
If I can find one priced USD 2... more... I changed my mind after seeing poco F3 with lower price tag (I know that cameras won't be as good though that's not a big issue for me)
Decided to get it also because I can flash custom ROM on it.
My Pixel 6 is the worst smartphone I've owned. Lowlights include refusing to charge from some USB power sources, Google Maps inexplicably changing to dim l/black night mode while driving in bright sunshine, unresponsive touchscreen with some apps, failure to login to some public WiFi networks, over-processing of camera images that you can't turn off (it looks like painting-by-numbers) and generally weird, erratic and buggy behaviour. I had an early Huawei smartphone with Cyanogen on it and it's worse than that. After happy times with three Moto Gs and then deciding to treat myself to a "flagship phone" it's come as a crushing disappointment. Shame on you Google for even releasing this.

If I can find one priced USD 250 or lower in a good condition, I may have it.
Google phones are not really cheap for their spec.
Abe, 14 May 2023$350 USD and I am from the Middle East, bought from a regional website that operates from Duba... moreYou really don't need 5G connection at this moment.
5G technology right now is unstable, slow and consumes a lot of power.
Other than that, it's an experimental technology and it could be dangerous.

Megavel, 19 Mar 2023I think you've got a bad device my friend that's basically the obvious truth. To you... moreI dunno man. I have no other choice but reading review, because pixel isn't widely available here.
And it ain't cheap either.
Phone is the worst I've ever owned. Battery only lasts half a day before needing charged even when not using it. Camera is bad and does not focus. Gets bad reception and have to be on wifi to even makes calls. Some settings are permanent when turned on. Certain features are difficult to use. Phone overheats after 10 minutes of use. And charging is all over sometimes takes 1 hour and sometimes takes 5 hours.
This phone sucks. It's case is so glossy that it slips of of flat surfaces. It is riddled with bugs over a year after its launch (e.g when you stop the screen recorder 50% of the time it sleeps your phone and doesn't save the video). It heats up way too easily and usually requires a 2nd charge in the middle of the day. If you go anywhere you for a day you better have an external battery or be down to sit at a coffee shop for an hour. The magic eraser is a gimmick as is the text to speech and instant translation. Apps don't work well on this phone either, I used to play hearthstone frequently but it will randomly close all the time. The only positive I can say is that it survives drops. I have dropped this phone a lot (see point about slipping off of flat surfaces) and it has never gotten a screen scratch. Even if it was indestructible I wouldn't buy it again. Pixels suck other than their camera and if you just take selfies or pics of your pets then you don't need this phone. Stay away.
Abdullah, 13 May 2023Brother 350 usd or cad?? You are from Canada or America $350 USD and I am from the Middle East, bought from a regional website that operates from Dubai. To date I have had no issues, beyond aforementioned lack of 5G/VOLTE (5G is enabled but does not connect, no options for VOLTE are shown) though there are ways to do it, some of my tinkering have failed to produce results.

Abe, 11 May 2023Just purchased a new Pixel 6 for $346, 128GB. Updated to latest software and so far running s... moreThere is still an option to enable voLTE and voWifi on it without root on a stock rom
Just purchased a new Pixel 6 for $346, 128GB. Updated to latest software and so far running smoothly. Only issue would be lack of 5G/VOLTE support which Google really should simply enable. Otherwise everything is really good: thermals are a non issue, cellular connection is strong, even the fingerprint reader while not instant, has been reliable.
Camera is of course great, nice for point and shoot while maintaining consistency pic to pic. Wireless charging works great (some reason every single Galaxy refused to wirelessly charge in my car, Pixels have always worked, as have OnePlus). Haven't run into any bugs yet, operation is slick with no hanging. Haptics are great, sound is also very good.
If you can get this new for a cheap price, it is virtually a no brainer.
I would not say it's the best one, but It's a quiet good one. I would not choose any other phones because they are 10% faster or 5% longer battery life or kinda minor benefits and pay for this about $1100. I do not need that. So, this phone is a very good choice.
It is a good phone in everything except the battery, although there are settings to extend its duration, it is not something that a person wants to do without knowing what is being done to them.
Anonymous, 19 Mar 2023- horrible fingerprint scanner - pretty bad battery lifeTry to turn off several settings watching a YouTube video about saving battery for long period.
virzlovsky, 23 Mar 2023I agree. I think there is now worse finger scanner on the market. What is the function of it? ... moreTurn on Lift to wake up in Lock screen settings, hope it will fix the fingerprint scanner as Mine worked.
