Honor Android

Honor launched the 200 and 200 Pro smartphones in China and then brought them to Europe several weeks later. Today, the company introduced the phones to another major market - India, where its subsidiary Htech and CEO Madhav Sheth shared some details about pricing and availability.

The two phones come just in time for Amazon Prime Day, which takes place in India several days after the global shopping event. Sales will start on July 20 and there are going to be a number of deals for local customers.

Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro launch date in India officially announced

Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro both come with "AI-empowered" MagicOS 8.0, and have 50 MP triple camera setups. Their 5,200 mAh batteries support 100W wired charging, and the Pro also adds 66W wireless.

The biggest difference between them is the chipset. The Honor 200 runs on Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, while the Pro has a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3.

The price of the Honor 200, available in Black or Moonlight White, is INR34,999 ($420/€380) for 8/256 GB, while the 12 512 GB version is INR39,999 ($480/€440). The Honor 200 Pro comes in Black or Oceancyan and costs INR57,999 ($700/€635) for 12/512 GB.

Both phones will launch with an INR2,000 ($23/€21) instant coupon discount, and early birds will get a free Honor Watch or TWS buds (worth INR8,499 if purchased separately).

That's not true though. Although all megapixels look the same, the sensor of the main camera is different in the two phones.

Holy Fuggling Yeesus I never knew that both of these phones have the same exact camera. Pro has different chipset (which is mediocre compared to 8gen3/2), wireless charging. I cannot believe almost double the price of base variant. ...
