Honor Win2 and Win Tablet launch with built-in fans and big batteries

Honor launched the Win in China back in December, and today its successor is official after weeks of teasers and leaks. The Honor Win2 arrives alongside the Win RT2 and Win Turbo2, as well as the company's first Win-branded tablet.

The Win2 comes with a 6.89-inch 1440x3104 OLED screen with a 185Hz refresh rate and 10,000-nit peak brightness, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset, up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, a 200MP 1/1.4-inch main camera with OIS, a 12MP ultrawide, a 50MP selfie camera, a 10,100 mAh battery with 100W wired and 80W wireless charging, IP68/IP69/IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance, and MagicOS 11 based on Android 17.

The Win2 has not one but two built-in cooling fans. An upright cross-flow fan spins at up to 20,000rpm, while a side fan goes up to 31,000rpm, and Honor claims that together they deliver 284% more airflow than the original Win. There's also a customizable Win key, a light ring around the camera that reacts to games, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and stereo speakers. The phone is 8.5mm thick and weighs about 237g.

The Honor Win2 is available for pre-order now in China in three colors. The 12GB/256GB model costs CNY 5,499 (about $822), the 16GB/256GB one goes for CNY 5,799 ($867), and the 12GB/512GB version is priced at CNY 6,299 ($942). The 16GB/512GB model costs CNY 6,999 ($1,046), while the top-of-the-line 16GB/1TB one will set you back CNY 7,999 ($1,196).

The Honor Win tablet comes with an 8.4-inch 1440x2304 OLED screen with a 240Hz refresh rate and 6,000-nit peak brightness, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, a 13MP rear camera, an 8MP selfie camera, a 10,000 mAh battery with 66W charging, and MagicOS 11 based on Android 17. It's 6.1mm thick, weighs 315g, and Honor says it's the first tablet with a built-in fan, which spins at up to 15,000rpm.

The Win tablet costs CNY 4,199 ($628) for the 12/256GB version and CNY 5,199 ($777) for the 16/512GB one, and it comes in black and silver. You can reserve one now for CNY 9.9 ($1.50). It's unclear when or if these will be available outside of China. Don't get your hopes up though.
