A very nice phone with all the required features and more to download from the HTC market.
But the battery is really disappointing.
CAN SOME ONE PLEASE HELP ME HERE?
MY BATTERY IS NOT LASTING FOR MORE THAN 8-9 HOURS.
I BOUGHT THE PHONE 4 DAYS AGO.

Hi there, I've been having problems with my brand new Desire HD.
Whenever I place or receive a call over the cellular network I can hear the other party fine, but they can only hear me. It happens all the time.
The microphone works while recording videos and voice messages.
Any ideas on what might be causing this behavior?

Kolja, 30 Jun 2011Something simmilar has happened to me but then I have realised that all the way I have tried t... moreThanks I'll give it a check but I still don't understand why the galaxy connects perfectly just by entering the password.without checking anything else so it must be ok.why should the HD be any different.its a shame cos the HD on the internet is so much faster than the SGS .

Check network name again. There wasnt anys networks I couldnt open If I had correct password and in last couple of weeks I'm using DHD I had like dozen different network connections.
Wifi hotspot also work great. It made my former USB HDSPA modem obsolete.

I've looked everywhere but no-one can give me an answer.why can't my DHD connect to my mates home WIFI after entering the password and my galaxy-s can? I do the same with both phones and the password is excepted but the DHD just never connects.never has from day one and I can't explain it.not even now updated to 2.3.3.

You will wipe the floor with Samsung Galaxy S and iPhone 4, because the new specifications give more performance and faster boot-up. You will boot-up the cell phone in only 2.0 seconds. You need between 20 to 40 seconds to boot-up an iPhone 4 or a Samsung Galaxy S. But people say that the Samsung Galaxy SII is the best cell phone in the market today... My DHD goes for 1024 MHz with a 16GB MicroSD scandisk ultra as memory card. 1 GB is taken by the system and 15 GB is left. DHD is better than the Samsung Galaxy SII to take som photos in darkness. How dis I know that? I have checked it up. You can figurate something, what you can't do with the Samsung Galaxy SII in the same darkness. You have to switch on more light to figurate that.
