finally d worst phone ever i got 7 months ago now gonna exchange it with desire 600............. before 9 days got it from gallery because of software and today again to gallery but this time directly to company.......
Whats app doesn't work on this hand set. when it is uninstalled & re-installed, the error comes- you have 'third party task killer' installed, whats aap might not work properly. it is shocking that i have not installed any 'third party task killer' it also true that, it restarts some times.
I bought a brand new HTC Desire SV phone at price Rs-19000/-. After using it for a 3~4 months, after my travel during 22nd May 2013 to 4th June 2013 from Pune -Delhi - Beas, Punjab - Pune, I figured a problem with the handset that the screen has gone blank, the phones received were giving echo sound. The moment I returned to Pune I went to the nearby service center (Galaxy, Pimpri, Pune). They submitted my device for sending it to the Technical service center Mumbai and told me that they would intimate me shortly about the repair status. The Service Centre has written "Not able to Power ON", which was wrong, therefore I did not sign the Job Sheet prepared by the Service Engineer & refused to accept the terms and conditions. As a protest against this act of mine, after a week, I got mail from them asking Rs 7961/- for the repair of the phone. They told me that there is liquid damage and some parts needed to be replaced. When I asked for the details of the repair, they sent me that quotation. I refused to pay them anything because my phone was still under warranty but they refused. I wanted a replacement of my phone at first and they refused it. Later I found under the warranty norms that company is liable to replace phone only if they were unable to repair the phone. So I wanted them to repair my phone Free of Cost but they refused it to.
After so many efforts of futile conversation with Customer Care and Service Centre people I felt so depressed and mentally harassed. Then one day I accepted & approved their Quotation as they were holding my handset with them. The handset which was given on 6th June 2013 was collected by me on 29th June 2013, but to my surprise they did not return the damaged parts replaced in my handset. Today, while surfing on the internet I came to know about AKOSHA and I am submitting my Complaint against Bharti Airtel to Akosha, that HTC has never replaced any parts on my handset and looted me therefore i humbly submit that ; (1) The reparied handset should be replaced (2) The amount of Rs.7961/- collected from me to be refunded.

Great phone with greater bug!
Cause has 2 sims, has 2 internal storage. The problem is: it doesn't know how to manage between them.
Result: the memory is always full and you cannot do anything with your phone (pics, social n., etc.).
HTC Curtomer Service doesn't know how to fix this bug.
I have been using Desire SV for a few weeks and it is working fine so far. No re-booting issues. Perhaps the problem had been resolved earlier on. My request to HTC concerns the sms messages interface to allow me to select sms message(s) as 'Read' without having to click and read every individual sms. This facility exists in the email user interface and should also be made available for sms messages.
Having used Desire S and Desire V, I notice that the Phonebook still prevents the creation of more than one 'Mobile' number per Phone contact but allows multiple 'Home', 'Work', etc. numbers. The 'Mobile' label should not be limited to only one per contact. Some contacts have more than one mobile number.
HTC Desire SV is one of the worst phone with auto reboot issue, switching off, Battary Charging Problem Taking full day for full charge. Now this is the 4th time I am going to submit this mobile to HTC Servicing center.
Suggesting not go for any HTC Desire SV phone.

I got this phone in February this year...was working fine till last month when it suddenly started restarting again and again. i visited the service center and they said that it could be some virus due to apps downloaded. They formatted the phone and said it will not happen again. Within 2 days now the problem has started to reoccur. They are now saying the motherboard needs to be replaced. HTC is the worst handset manufacturer and I can say that with confidence since I have used 5 other brands...will never again buy an HTC phone..

I have visited service centre for 3 times for same issue..
i bought this HTC DESIRE SV on june 2013, It is hopless mobile instrument i have ever come accrosed, i get very angrey and upset whenever i happend to use it,problems - auto shut down in between the conversiation ,auto restart, network not detected, sim card not detected, cant make or receive call and sms. i suggeset not to buy these HTC INSTRUMENTS
