I bought this desire vc 1 month ago and now I'm fac... morewell I'm not sure whether a software or a hardware issue. It happened to me and the reason was that the displays goes dim whenever the Brightness is below 15%. So if your phone was in the dark and it was set to auto-brightness it would never go on!
Solution: Either switch off the Auto-brightness or download a software called Lux auto brightness and set the minimum brightness in the settings to the required limit so that the display wouldn't go dim.

Awesome audio when you listen with headphone. But I'm doubt is it gonna work properly with beats audio(tm).

though it is good looking and averagely good mobile..i will not recommend to use dual sim on HTC mobiles

Pathetic phone.I have had display issues from the first month itself.got it repaired /replaced under warranty twice.the third time they replaced the handset after a lot offighting and now after two months of use the display has conked off again.....................to the dusbin...HTC

in specification it is written 4GB ROM but only 1 GB provided in each handset. this is obvious cheating with valued customer.

I am using it since 1 year. Its not a good phone. Power button problem and i sent it to Service Center and they are saying to replace its mother board and charging a lot.
