Guys.. Recently i updated my HTC desire X phone software to Android version: 4.1.1 and HTC sense version 4+ ..
Before this Software update When i connect mobile to laptop there was an option for "Charging Only" under "Tap to change settings" from this we can only charge mobile but couldn't see/detect mobile internal/SD contents. But after software update i found that this feature is not available, as the "charging only" option itself is not appearing. can anyone suggest, how can i get that option/feature back? ... Thanks in advance.

Hi, i took this mobile around 6 months back. Iam facing some problem with phonebook/contact names. Iam unable to see some names/contacts in "People/Search People" list which i saved using "create new contact" option. but same names/contacts i can see when i go to Message-Compose "To" list. Any idea whether its a settings problem or mobile problem?

Go to music player select a song as ur ringtone it will give option like Trim and phone ring select any1 one then ur problem solved Buddy

Hi can anyone tell me how can we set the ringtones on HTC Desire X Dual Sim mobiles because i am unable to set the other ringtones(which is not there in the mobile given by the HTC ) plz tell me the solution its urgent .......

sudhir, 20 Sep 2013Dear all, i am using this phone from last 3 months,yes i am also getting the flash message dai... moreFlash message is not the problem with phone. Flash Message is something that is pushed by the service provider. You need to turn the flash message Off.
Do these simple steps to turn this Off
1. Go to Application menu
2. There will be a application item icon for your service provi der (named Like 'Vodafone Services', '!dea Services' etc.). Open this up
3. Select 'FLASH!' -> Activation -> Deactivate
Your flash messages will be turned off and you will stop receiving flash messages.

plz dont buy and waste your money,i bought it 4months ago,set got dead twice,poor customer care support.i bought it for my fiance also,same 4months over,headset not working,phone is automaticaly getting off and on..
battery is getting heated up soon,if fully charged,battery comes around 3-4hrs for normal use..plz dont buy this.
