This is the worst phone I have ever had it always freezes up and its always sending me duplicate messages I would not reccomend this phone to anybody DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE !!!!!
This phone is, quite frankly, a nuisance. As soon as I took the phone from the package, it began to malfunction. Freezing, stalling, system failures, error messages, you name it. I've exchanged it multiple times in order to rectify the problem, but the replacements are just as bad. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE!!!
omg i hate this phone so much. i thought it would be good since it is a smart phone but it is horrible. it freezes, turns off, sends me multiples of the same message, and overheats. i really need to get a different phone. NOBODY SHOULD GET THIS PHONE!!!! it sucks
This is the worst phone I have ever had in my cell phone life!NEVER, I REPEAT NEVER GET THIS PHONE, if you do trust me you will be very very sorry as I am. I have had this phone for a little over a week now, and it freezes, it shows me duplicate text messages, sometimes I get as many as 6 of the same message from the same person, it freezes, it cuts itself off and the I have to remove the battery and restart it, what a mess!!! It also gives me the oops message, it sometimes drops all of my contacts thus preventing me from calling, or sending a text to a contact, the screens do not always scroll, but the worst was this morning when I got out of my bed as usual I reached for my cell phone, it was extremely hot, and it would not come on at all so once again I removed the battery and did a restart, yes it came on but only for a minute then it shut itself down. I called ATT and I must have spoken to at least 5 different people before the right one came on the phone and allowed me to cancel the HTC and I selected a different phone which is being sent tome by FEDEX, so I hope this time tomorrow not to even have the HTC in my home. Also I could not use mobile banking for my bank as they informed me they do not support this phone. I would have to pay monthly to get my email on the HTC, such a waste of my time to even have had it for the length of time I did. It has been a nightmare!!!!
This phone is crazy stupid. I thought it was just me until I read all of the crap reviews. I hope you are not like me and reading this after the fact. I'm now calling HTC trying to get their warranty people to help. You would think AT$&T would step up and pull this sh$t phone.
Avoid like plague unless you are a gambling person and think you aint gonna get a lemon... Got one of these from ATT and it would have sys errors/freezes 1 or 2 x a week. I would sometimes get up to 5 copies of same text but overall a great, easily customizable quick message phone. Then I went camping and had an accident so I bought another "new" one on eBay. Wow, talk about a lemon. Constant sys crashes, freezes (when both on and off). I was constantly having to remove the battery to get it to start. I would also get mysterious rainbow screen of death. Not good. After a painful 6 weeks pay pal stepped up and the seller told me to "keep the phone" and I got my $ back. Fool I am, I then bought the freestyle on Amazon. Yup, same EXACT problems. Even after resetting to factory settings. I think there is a high lemon rate on these phones and that lots of sellers and resellers know this and keep sending the lemons out to dumb asses like me and then raking in the %15 restock fee. Shame on HTC and ATT for releasing such pieces of crap.
Ordered this phone last Thursday it was delivered on Saturday and after 2 to 2 1/2 hours started freezing up. Had to pull battery and restart every-time. On Monday Called ATT and graciously they sent me a new phone. It arrived on Tuesday late afternoon and by 6pm it also had froze up. Now it is 6:15 am Wednesday and it has frozen up at least 5 times and restarted on its own twice saying there was a system error. I am beginning to believe the system error was the production of this piece.

For battery use.. don't charge the phone over night because it might damage your battery-over charging. 3-4 is the basic charging hrs for the phone. or you can also try updating the software/firmware of the phone thru htc.com for longer battery usage
OH ya........... did I mention that the battery life sucks also? Phone is charged overnight, and the battery is half dead. And that is without listening to music or anything. It sits in my purse while I am at work.................lame.
I have had this phone for 2 days. So far it has froze 8 times, and let me tell you how NOT fun it is to take the battery out of it to unfreeze it. Also I have had 3 error messages and the phone restarts. I also downloaded music on the phone and depending on the phones mood, it will play the music or won't. I will be sending this phone back. I would NOT recommend this phone.
Worst phone ever I'm on my third one and it's still messin up everyone that I've had will freeze up shut off by itself and everytime I get a text I get like 5 from the same person when they only sent it ounce and also it also will randomly say pops a system error has occurrd restarting this is the absolute worst phone you can buy,I finally called AT&T n complained to them and I finally got them to send me a different model phone the of phoneix
I have 3 of these phones, 2 of which i had for 2 days, Both started messing up with error problems. And then 1 stoped working alltogether. The 3rd one just wont load up anymore. So I'm sending 2 back. 1 I'm stuck with and need to swap with another junk phone. But I'm going to most Lilkely put it in a box and store it away. And buy something different. sad that technology can't get this right.
i had this phone for over 8 months and it works really well. it never froze, so i don't get all these complaints. maybe if you took care of it, it wouldnt freeze up all the time. mine works perfectly.
Does this thing have a voice recorder please the radio is not my thing I like recording! Oh and other than that this thing is amazing! :)
I have no idea what any of these people are talking about. Ive never had mine turn off, freeze, though occassionally i will receive a double messege. But it sends texts just fine. Ive had this same for for the past 7 months and love it. Absolutly no problems receiving calls and such.
