Huawei Android

For a good part of last year, rumors consistently pointed out towards a likely collaboration between Huawei and the US carriers (AT&T at least) over the Chinese company's Mate 10 smartphone.

However, recent reports revealed talks between the company and the carrier fell apart for unknown reasons. Effectively confirming the development, Huawei has now said that the Mate 10 Pro will not be available through any carriers in the US.

The company confirmed today the device will be sold through open channels in the market. "We remain committed in this market now and in the future. U.S. customers need a better choice, and as a leader in technology and innovation, Huawei is prepared to fill this need."

Yeah, just like they have been exclusive sellers of other phones, they did not market, advertise, or in any other way try to push. I remember when the Dell Streak 5 came out. I bought one direct from Dell because I wanted a BIGGER SCREEN (3.5" was ...
