I have all the google apps on mi e incl google play store, so i dont know where you coming from with this statement. Download GBox on your Huawei app store then download all your google apps on gbox.
Did you miss the part about No Google Play Services? And even then, you can sideload gms to make Play store apps work. But in my case, we made a request to our banks to put up App Gallery versions and they did. 🙃
