Huawei Pura 70 Ultra gets AI Image Expansion with latest update
Huawei launched the Pura 70 series back in April before AI became the industry's favorite buzzword. Now the phones are catching up to the trend with the latest software update.
The Pura 70 Ultra flagship got a firmware update that adds AI Image Expansion feature.
AI Image Expansion
AI Image Expansion adds more to an image, expanding its field of view. The feature can be found in the Gallery app when an image is selected. The Edit icon now has the AI Image Retouch option, and then it can Expand Image.
The editing tool comes with HarmonyOS 4.2.0.176 and a July 2024 security patch and is 347 MB big. The update is hitting a limited number of phones in China, but we expect it to reach international units soon.

But global Pura units still don't have the AI features promised to arrive via updates. China units have them though already. Then this.
