Alongside the brand new P50 series, Huawei introduced two new wearables with the Watch GT 2 Pro ECG and Band 6 Pro. Both offer incremental upgrades over their standard versions with the Watch GT 2 Pro ECG offering electrocardiogram readings while Band 6 Pro comes with body temperature measurements.
Watch GT 2 Pro ECG is identical in size and features to the regular Watch GT 2 Pro which we reviewed last year. It brings a 1.39-inch AMOLED display, Sapphire crystal-infused glass protection and titanium frame. You get heart-rate tracking, blood oxygen monitoring and sleep and stress measurements too. The smartwatch boots Huawei Lite OS and brings over 100 workout modes.
Pricing is set at CNY 3,088 ($478) with first sales commencing on August 12. Watch GT 2 Pro ECG comes in a single black colorway.
Band 6 Pro brings a 1.47-inch AMOLED display and the same heart rate, blood oxygen, sleep and stress tracking as Watch GT 2 Pro ECG. You also get the aforementioned body temperature tracker as well as 96 workout modes. Battery life is rated at up to two weeks of moderate usage.
Pricing for Band 6 Pro is set at CNY 449 ($70) with open sales starting on August 20.
Negative points: - the bracelet wears out after one month - No ambient light sensor - No always-on mode - When swimming, does not recognize a 50-meter pool - After jogging, no track on the application :(((
