I am 74 and this is my first smart phone. It is great, music sounds OK, GPS is very good, photos are alright but I have a Canon and so I use a camera for photos not a phone. The main thing is it is easy to get around and phone and texting is perfect for me. I was told all the workings are Samsung and I believe this to be correct. My grandson has an Iphone 5s and my phone does pretty well everything his does. The difference is if I drop mine or it ends up in water as his did it will be $159 down the gurgler nor $900. Recommend for as low cost efficient device. Bit like comparing Toyotsa with BMW. Toyota is more reliable and performs OK but doesn't have the BS status of BMW.
I've had this phone for a while now and honestly, its not that bad for a low end device. The battery life isn't great, but it isn't bad either. If you're not a heavy user, it will probably last a whole day. The camera quality is decent, although I have seen better. But I wouldn't expect much from a phone like this. The speed of the phone is okay, it does tend to lag just a little bit, for example, if I'm on SnapChat, it will exit out of the app by itself for some reason. But you just need to force close the app, then re-open it. Simple as that. It has decent speed, like if your on the Youtube app or Google Chrome, it will run smoothly. It has a big screen, pretty clear I might add. I guess having a big screen is popular to have these days. The touch response is pretty smooth as well, kinda like a Samsungs 'AMOLED Screen.' The phone itself however, is definitely a fingerprint magnet from the front and the back. You might wanna wipe it often. The phone also seems to heat up if you use it for a long time. There might be some bad features about this phone that I've missed, but I don't feel like going in to detail of them, so I'll just let them be.
Overall, this phone is a good choice if you're planning on purchasing your first smartphone, if you wanna swap over from Apple devices, or if you just need a cheap phone. I would recommend getting this phone.
Kamrul, 17 Mar 2016Is it supports 4gunfortunately i got no 4g connection ! i use 3g
I've bought this phone for my wife, and for a budget option, it is absolutely great. I works great, it is fast and reliable. Only minuses are small internal memory and moderate photo quality in low lighting. But except those two minuses, it moves just as fast as my Samsung S5+, but at a quarter of cost as a new phone in both cases.
Something wrong with 4G in Latvia with this phone, its glitchy ! The signal 📶 appear and disappear
