iPhone 18 Pro series enters test production phase, rumor claims

Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max in September this year, with the iPhone Fold also likely to debut alongside them. A new leak now suggests the iPhone 18 Pro lineup has entered the test production phase.

Tipster Fixed Focus Digital shared the details in a Weibo post. As per the leaker, the iPhone 18 Pro models are currently in the test production phase, where Apple conducts production validation runs to ensure there are no issues before the devices enter mass manufacturing.

The production validation run will involve Apple using its actual assembly lines and official production tools.

According to the tipster, there are no major changes to the materials or design specifications, suggesting the iPhone 18 Pro lineup may not differ significantly from the iPhone 17 Pro series. This aligns with recent rumors indicating that the only notable design change could be the Dynamic Island getting smaller.
