iQOO 15R launch scheduled for next month

iQOO has been teasing the 15R for the Indian market for the past few weeks, and the company has now officially confirmed the phone’s India launch date.

The iQOO 15R will debut in India on February 24, the company confirmed in an X post.

Although the brand hasn’t revealed many details about the upcoming phone, it has been confirmed to be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. The phone will run Android 16-based OriginOS and offer a dual-rear camera setup. Meanwhile, the phone's Amazon India listing has also revealed that it will be priced under INR 55,000 ($599).

The handset appears to be a rebrand of the iQOO Z11 Turbo, which was unveiled in China earlier this month.

The iQOO 15R could launch with a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate, a 200MP primary rear camera, and a 7,600mAh silicon-carbon battery.
