iQOO Android Rumors

Reliable tipster Digital Chat Station had earlier claimed that the iQOO 16, expected to launch this month, would pack an 8,500 mAh battery. Now, the tipster says the smartphone is confirmed to come with an 8,400 mAh battery.

Even if the iQOO 16's battery capacity is lower than previously rumored, it is still higher than the iQOO 15's 7,000 mAh battery capacity.

The iQOO 16 is rumored to have the same wired charging speed as the iQOO 15: 100W. It is also rumored to support wireless charging, but it's unclear how fast it will be. The iQOO 15 supports 40W wireless charging.

Other rumored specs of the iQOO 16 include a 6.85" 165Hz flat 2K display, a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, a 50MP primary camera (OmniVision OV50Q sensor), and IP68 and IP69 ratings.

The iQOO 16 is also rumored to come with a dedicated graphics chip, and it was spotted on Geekbench with the unannounced Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 SoC, 16GB RAM, and Android 17.

An image recently shared by DCS hinted at a redesigned camera module.

hmmm that's a good step forward, assuming super fast charging is there this could be a good phone. we need 120+w charging, a gaming phone not having fast charging is pathetic.
