iQOO 7 units worth CNY 200 million sold in first sale, update brings 1,000Hz touch sampling rate

The iQOO 7 unveiled earlier this week went on its first sale today and iQOO announced it sold units worth more than CNY200 million, which translates to about $30.9 million.

The iQOO 7 comes in two memory configurations - 8GB/128GB priced at CNY3,798 ($585/€485) and 12GB/256GB priced at CNY4,198 ($650/€535). The phone maker didn't reveal the number of units it sold today, but assuming most people purchased the base model, more than 50,000 were moved.

The iQOO 7 is powered by the Snapdragon 888 SoC, sports a 48MP triple camera, and packs a 4,000 mAh battery with 120W charging.

The smartphone features a 6.62" 120Hz FullHD+ AMOLED display, and a new software update released by iQOO enables 1000Hz touch sampling rate on the screen in addition to squashing bugs and optimizing 4D vibration experience.

The iQOO 7 is offered in three colors - Black, Blue, and White. The last one is a BMW co-branded version. You can check out its unboxing video linked below.

Depends on the user. Younger gamers like me would notice the difference above 500 hz. When it comes to competitive gaming. You go for the most available. You just don't limit yourself. Just like Formula 1 teams would just dump millions in...

You probably haven't used a phone that offers more than 60hz because your comment obviously shows that. and Yes you can feel the Smoothness if your phone have 90 or 120hz vs your iPhone with 60hz
