when it comes in greece i'm buying it:)
plz tell us more about the phone..and a ... moreI will post my reviews as I start to use my phone, as I said I am waiting on the 14hrs battery charge as like you I am worried about the battery life but I bit the bullet and brought for it.
I have had alittle play with the UI and it is fast no delays in response so far and the vibration on touch the screen is really helpful. People have spoke about that the screen will be to small to use the UI easily but I have fat fingers and haven't found a problem with this so far, but I haven't texted a message yet. Bear in mind though that I am no a chick and cannot type messages that fast anyway.
I have just tried the camera and as a camera on a phone I think its really good and perfect for those moments when all you have on you is your phone and not your all singing, all dancing digital camera thats too big to put in your pocket on a lads night out. So far, really happy !!

when it comes in greece i'm buying it:)
plz tell us more about the phone..and a huge plz:tell us about the battery fact....can you "play" a full day without having battery problems??
i hope you reply soon....
P.S lucky guy:P
I can confirm it comes with Plug Earphones.
After getting it today (Black Version) I can say that the build quality is superb, I was worried about the battery cover being plastic, but it does have a metal top finish to it. The size is perfect and this is what sold it to me, I have to say the look of the phone is fantastic!!
As yet though I cannot comment on any of the phones capabilities or what the UI & software is like, the reason being the instructions state the first charge of the phone needs to be 14 hrs and with the battery life of the phone on everyones mind I am making sure I do what the manual says.
So far I really do love this phone and recommend it, but tomorrow is another day (of playing once charged fully) and I keep you updated on what it is like.
I you have any questions please ask and I will try to answer them, don't get all tecki on me as I am a simply phone user.
would anybody know what kind of headset this phone has?i mean regular one's or ear plugs like the walkman series
got a demo handset of this today, seems quite good for an LG, won't comment further 'til i use a full working model
Dovey, 01 Apr 2009Has anyone heard of a release date for this in the UK?Already out !! It is out in Black on T Mobile UK, I ordered one Monday night and it has come today (MY Wife has just taken delivery) so I am off home lunchtime to have a ganders at it.
ok let me tell you guys the fact between lg Arena and the iphone.
The Arena is far more superior to the iphone. The biggest down side to the Arena is its OS meaning there will be no way in hell you are going to get the same number of apps available as the iphone.
So if you like to customise your phone forget about it.
I don’t care about gps I can buy one for $100 for the car and its much better.
The deal breaker is the led flash as apposed to xenon flash. Indoor photos will be crap.
Sorry LG I will wait for you to release the Viewty II (mid year) which will have all these features plus 8mp camera with xenon flash and a 32gig internal memory. Now that’s a complete phone.
you have nothing on this gsm becaus battery life is dead sorry bad engels
Well this did it, this copied and beat the iphone without a doubt. but iphone is still more popular.
It seems to be a decent unit with many more to follow from LG,Samsung and others..
But seriously, the Battery Life is just pathetic!!
It was issue with the Viewty as well..Why can't they pack a 1500mah battery with such a good package!!
LG get on with your R&D!!
Spyros/Cesar.s.c, 29 Mar 2009This is really a very good cellphone. Nice interface, excellent desing. very good job for LG. ... moreWhat the hell? It's one million time better than the Omnia... the i900 is a crapy cellphone.
Anonymous, 29 Mar 2009it has _4_ times the screen resolution of the omnia i900 - don't have to think about it. no we... morehahahahahahahahaha who hasn't?
Come on... I have a flatscreen built in to my car. So when i have to drive long long times. I can take a breake and watch South Park on my Amiblight.
IT"S HOT LIKE FIREEE...
Pretty amazing how far LG have come in the last 3.5 years, now producing devices of this calibre. This device will also serve to those of us advancing the argument that the definition of what a smartphone is is now blurring, given that this device can do as much as many devices running the well known smartphone OSs.
Anonymous, 29 Mar 2009i don't see any reason that speaks for the renoir.
5M Pix is more than any phone needs - if y... morewe don't have (AUTO ANSWERING app) in java!
this is what I really need bud viewty didn't! hope this one have ... !
Haw, 29 Mar 2009Thanks for the fast reply.
So this phone is a java phone?
i'm planning to buy it, is it good... morei don't see any reason that speaks for the renoir.
5M Pix is more than any phone needs - if you want anything around 5MPix you'll need a canon lensset and a real camera.
they share the same lacking of an open o/s like symbian/android/winMo. as long as there is no need for special apps, you'll find everything you need in the java section.
