Think next year my new phone is prob going to be the LG G2 mini because of 4g and it's weight. It's a pity that they don't have G2Tegra version in Europe.

One feature that i like in lollipop. Im not sure if it is present in kitkat. When warthing listening to video/music what ever. Volume control is active on present task in notification bar. So no fixed control but more flexible adaptive. In other words you dont have to touch volume rocker at all. It changes by it self. Must test this on chromecast if chromecast will appear automaticly

I just picked up my L90 today and it's restored to original value (android 4.4.2). Man Im happy!

So a very big thanks to LG (Staff & Repair Team).

Besides I bought a second phone, L70 just as a back up. It's always handy to have a 2nd for just in case.

I've learned an important lesson when it comes to an software upgrade. Next time I will not think twice but 10 times before I make a decision like that again. So I'm walkin, talkin and runnin smooth again-))

They need to do a swelt project again and ART improvment!!!. Ive been using now new feature in lollipop Smartlock and its good but need a lot of improvment. Boot time in lollipop is just slow. I think they fckd up really good with material design animations and effects. Thats why lollipop is slower then kitkat. Kitkat was clean. You cant turn off animations in lollipop. You can turn off UI animations but not app animations. And its not constant its like semi turned off.

Going through message notifications takes a good 2-3 seconds. The only improvement that I can see, is the app switching speed. Though for that, one needs to keep the apps in memory.

Activating new smaller sim card is a pain. tried t-mobile web site and hope for the best. No such luck. I had to call walmart family and after the runaround finally got to a human! He took info, told us to turn off new phones for 2 hours. Worked perfect. It is very, very hard to reach a human. Good luck!

I have this phone for a month now
i dont have any problems
i update it to lolipop too,and it is better from kit kat,no lag, better ram usage, better battery.
for anyone who has problems with lollipop.
first do factory reset on kitkat
and after that update it to lollipop
and then do another factory reset with lollipop
then it will run smooth and with no lag at all !
best phone ever!! :)

Maikel-Netherlands, 14 May 2015I disslike android Lollipop and like android Kitkat more. I was "very happy" with an... moreYou really don't need to buy another...just because Kitkat.

The best option would be to hand it over to the service centre and they will reset the phone to its original glory. They will insist on fixing Lollipop but you just stick to your guns. Ask them to roll back to Kitkat no matter what.

Next up, you have another option which includes following some guides that require you to make use of some 'LG Flash Tool'. Actually, these service guys also make use of it so, you can see how well known the utility is.

Well, all you need to do is, get the 'LG Flash Tool' and the CORRECT system image. By that, I mean, you need to get the relevant system image for your device. This includes the version which is meant for your region and also the android version.

That's all. Simply Google 'LG Flash Tool Kitkat'

The 'lockscreen bug' is not a hardware issue, it's a software issue.

That too, region specific one or maybe...just present on my unit. I don't think LG will push any further updates so...I think it's about time I began flashing CM12.

But then again, the problem is...that some of the stock features are not available in custom ROMs, which is why, I'll need to find a fix for it somehow.

Seriously, this bug is annoying. I can't even turn it in for repair because...I'm on root and I won't waste my time unrooting it because most apps need root access.
