Mediatek Android

Mediatek will launch its next flagship chipset on October 9. The Taiwanese company said to expect "a new generation of Mediatek products" in its teaser, shared on Chinese social network Weibo.

The post did not name the new chipset with AI NPU, but we expect it to be called Dimensity 9400 and feature Arm's Immortalis-G925 MC12 GPU.

The new chipset will reportedly have an octa-core CPU: 1x3.63 GHz Cortex-X925 + 3x2.8 GHz Cortex-X4 + 4x2.1 GHz Cortex-A725. Leaked benchmarks revealed that the processor's performance will be 30% better than the Dimensity 9300, while the GPU might be the most powerful on the market.

Oppo is expected to launch two Find X8 phones with Dimensity 9400 – vanilla and Pro. We also heard rumors that the vivo X200 series will feature a number of phones with the Mediatek platform and will be announced shortly after its launch.
