The Microsoft Band 2 is now available for purchase in the US. Major retailers, both online and in brick-and-mortar stores, are offering the smartband including Amazon, Best Buy, Dell and Target.
Priced at $249, the band is offered in small, medium and large sizes. For the price, Microsoft gives you continuous heart rate monitoring, notification alerts as well as eleven sensors, which combined can track not only running, but also complex weightlifting exercising, rowing, biking, but not swimming.
The Microsoft Band 2 comes with a Microsoft Health companion app. It works on Android, iOS and Windows Phone alike and can give you pretty interesting data around your way of life and exercising routines. Best of all, the data that Band 2 collects can be exported to a plethora of popular fitness and activity applications.
