Motorola will launch the Moto G84 in India next Friday, and today, we learned about the arrival of another midranger. The Moto G54 will be introduced on September 5, according to the Chinese division of the company on Weibo.

The phone already appeared in some leaked renders earlier this month, and now it was also listed by TENAA, confirming the looks and some key specs and features.

We can see the simple dual camera design on the back of the Moto G54, as well as the dent on the side where the power key is, meaning it will double as a fingerprint scanner. In turn this means the LCD panel is likely retained. And the battery capacity is 4,850 mAh, which is the minimal charge; the typical will surely be 5,000 mAh.

The full specs sheet should be posted by the Chinese regulatory later, but we expect a 50 MP main camera, 16 MP selfie shooter, up to 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage.

The predecessor Moto G53 was unveiled in China back in December 2022, before going global 1.5 months later. if a repeat was to happen Moto fans around the world might have to wait until October for the Moto G54 to arrive.

Yeah, probably different market thing. It's weird, though, because g84 on the same site has NFC support. 6000mAh battery is something that would help in other markets too IMO, as g54 doesn't stand out or come with anything new or premium in...

NFC is often market depending in EU always NFC included. And battery also, India exclusive is that 6000mH in EU it will be 5000 with 30W charger in the box. Main Camera is 50mp with OIS! 👍 8 mp ultrawide lens doubles as good quality macro lens. 12/25...
