This phone is stellar. It's battery is long lasting, yet charges rapidly. Fingerprint scanner is good and both cameras work well. No display issues either. But only one problem. The fact that this mobile will not upgrade to Android Oreo despite being released only two months after that of Moto e4 is apparently because it's a budget phone and if they add Oreo to it then people will not buy the more expensive phone off Motorola. Not cool. Hopefully when a new Android version comes out then Motorola will add that their expensive phone and add Oreo to this one. 9/10

BUT, if it happens again, do these steps: Make sure you have calibrated the battery; check the charger; if the steps won't work then call Motorola. I'm glad you found out why your Moto E4 started rapid charge again.
AnonD-681239, 11 Jan 2018How much internal memory available for user? And it is have auto call recorder. Pls reply...16gb,
No auto call recoder
It's a great phone and runs great. I love it. But theres a catch. The fingerprint scanner ALWAYS will control something other than fingerprint scanning. It either just turns the phone off or you can make control the standard Android bar on the bottom. IT SUCKS that you can't turn it off because it's activated by moisture sometimes so I'll be laying in bed using it and itll start doing inputs. It pisses me the fuck off
worst phone ever!!!! i have had nothing but problems with this phone since i bought it. the ringer has never worked even after a factory reset. the keyboard to make a call is barely functional. don't waste your time on this phone
JonQuan, 21 Jul 2017The Moto E4 is also a CDMA phoneThe version sold in the USA (with a Qualcomm processor) can work with some carriers' CDMA networks, in addition to GSM, HSPA, and LTE.
The one listed on this page (with a Mediatek processor) is the worldwide version, and it is GSM/HSPA/LTE only.
RUN FROM THIS PHONE! More often than not, (first T-Mobile but now complaints across all carriers) it quits accessing SIM, no data, replacing SIMs doesn't help, and even worse, replacement phones have same issue, either immediately or within a few weeks. Read the Lenovo Moto forum for the many complaints, the continued lack of response from Lenovo, missed Sw release deadlines, etc.
my name is Ahsan, 10 Feb 2018if your phone takes long time to charge so it gives you battryback long time I love the battery so much and the camera so much
My Mom Bought This Phone 3 Months Ago. And She Told Me That This Phone Is Very Bad. When She Receive An Incoming Call. The Phone Freezes Itself. And My Moms Phone Charger. Breaks Very Easy. And I Told My Mom. If She Wants To Buy Another Phone. But She Doesnt Have Any Money. To Buy Another Phone. PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE.
So i bough this phone and on the second day my bro accidentally dropped the phone from the sofa, the phone fell on the back side to the floor, turns out there was event a scratch on the phone but the display broke internally, it had everything the glass protector and the back cover on but it still broke. i had to buy a new screen just with in two days. the build quality is so bad. have seen phones in this price range which are far better in terms of toughness. i recommend NEVER to buy this phone!

The charger that came with the phone is the only charger for it that enables fast charge or unless you get other Motorola chargers. If you use a charger from Samsung or a generic charger of off Amazon may not enable fast charge. I have the same problem until I found out problem. Basically, I'm saying use the charger that came with the phone. Good luck, and sorry if this didn't help you.

AnonD-730943, 31 Jan 2018Perhaps a UHS Class 3 SD card is the best option. It is faster than a Class 10 card by 20 mb/s... morei went to the service center and after the diagnosis done they confirmed that the handset is faulty (issue with the SD slot) so they replaced the handset with a new another new one.
i noticed that formating the SD as internal memory will slow down a bit the performance of the mobile, i guess better to format the SD as portable.
Are they more models of this E4? I eman I find conflicting specs. Keep in mind only interested in E4 dual-sim not E4 Plus.

Which site got it right?
Mohab, 11 Jan 2018i bought Moto e4 for my son (10 years old) on 3rd Jan-2018, and i ave issue with the SD card. ... morePerhaps a UHS Class 3 SD card is the best option. It is faster than a Class 10 card by 20 mb/s. This sounds great on paper, but the internal storage or UFS has been improved at a terrifying rate, so maybe an SD card will not be as fast.
