Specs are incomplete. This phone has LTE bands 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 17. Motorola later admitted LTE band 5 when the XT1225 was released in India.
Also, there's a U.S. Moto Maxx XT1250, which has the exact same specs, exact same FCC ID as the Droid Turbo XT1254.
There are two Quark phones, two FCC IDs with three model names:
* XT1225 Moto Maxx/Moto Turbo
* XT1254 Droid Turbo/XT1250 Moto Maxx
i dont understand either, very worried 6.0 will just be be scrapped. however will hang on a little longer seeing as have already waiting months for it. love this phone. has everything and more. only missing finger print reader and yet there has been no other advances really to the phone world. dont like the new versions to fat and oversized. fingers crossed its updated. keep following the news on this but seems always a load of b s.
I have a few questions:
1. Is it still worth my money?
2. Where do I buy it in Europe (Germany)?
3. Does LTE work on European bands?
4. On which Android version does it run currently?
And I guess the KitKat capacitive keys don't look that good on Android L or M...

Moin, 18 Feb 2016Can anyone tell me how Moto Maxx differ from Droid Turbo? Because both phones have same specs ... moreDroid Turbo (XT1224) and Moto Maxx (XT1225) support different Bands.
Turbo has CDMA and Verizon Bands, Maxx international/GSM UMTS Bands: http://forum.xda-developers.com/droid-turbo/help/flashing-xt1255-rom-xt1254-t3299246
Also it seems, that you can't unlock the bootloader or root a Droid Turbo. See http://forum.xda-developers.com/droid-turbo/general/guide-droid-turbo-moto-maxx-carrier-t3044609
Can anyone tell me how Moto Maxx differ from Droid Turbo? Because both phones have same specs but Droid turbo have more fans and people tend to buy Turbo. Is Droid Turbo better than Moto Maxx? Please help.
i don't know whay motorola does not upgrade moto maxx xt1250 from kitkat.(xt1250 is moto maxx us edition)
I came from Lg g3 which I have been using for last one and half years. This is a truly grateful phone. The design is cool that stand apart from Samsung stereotypes. The screen is good. The camera is also good but only problem is compared to other phones its a bit laggy. From the lock screen we can see upto 4 notifications by waving hand our hand over the screen without touching it. That is a very cool feature that I found very practical in every day use. Overall I am impressed
I am only getting 4 hours of screen on time and 24-28hr run time. Is this normal?
really good phone, got this for 240$ 64GB(new open box). Reviewers say that the camera is weak, but its actually good, I compared it with s6 edge .
friends anyone knows if the cell operates in Ecuador? the operator, Claro?
got this thing and so far so good, The camera is a bit weak because of the moto IR sensors, it eat's the battery a lot and the 2k panel also eats a lot of battery juice. The only downside is the software, LATE UPDATE, still on 5.0.1 lollipop. Build quality is actually good, the design looks great IMO, but the glass design of samsung phones are really sexy compared to this.
CD, 15 Nov 2015Does this support 4G in india4g in india is very fragmented, bands and technologies differ from place to place. 4g works in gurgaon (airtel) however not 100% of all other places
overall hardware is excellent... camera is good / great. battery life is phenomenal.
Sadly the only drawback is the lack of updates. motorola has given greater priority to some other phones from 2015 however the updates (android L) are still 'under development'
What's the difference between the XT1250 and the XT1225? Just carrier? US vs Int'l bands? Thanks in advance, anyone.
