Motorola Android

Motorola launched the Signature back in January, and now the company is already starting its teaser campaign for the successor called Signature 27. When you visit Motorola.com from the European Union or the UK, you'll get a pop-up on the main homepage that shows a glimpse of the upcoming phone, which you can see below.

You can register your interest in the device right there and then, giving Motorola permission to email you with more details when it's ready to reveal them. There is, unfortunately, no other information about the Signature 27 on the website, aside from a "Crystals by Swarovski" logo that isn't loading but is supposed to be part of the pop-up with the teaser image.

That strongly suggests that the Signature 27 will be offered in a Swarovski-encrusted version, which wouldn't be surprising as its predecessor was subjected to the same treatment too. Anyway, we'll let you know when we find out more about the Signature 27.

In 1996, Nokia 9000 Communicator was £1,000 in the UK (probably cheaper in the USA). If adjusted for inflation, £1,000 then, is ~£2,100 now.

sheeeesh, imagine saying 1000 euros isn't expensive... how inflation has got us. remember when the most expensive phones were iphones and they were around 650 us dollars and you could get the best androids for around 400 to 500?
