Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Had a Rizr Z3 until 3days back. Never bothered to keep in touch with handsets et all. The Z3 did all that I wanted.
I have read a few of the previous posts and was not able to find any info on 'Touch-sensitive keypad.' The specs page mentions that this phone has a 'Touch-sensitive keypad.' Can someone please tell what this is and how does having this feature help?
Can a user of this phone please tell me if it has got features like 'Application Lock' and 'Phone Lock' and 'Restrict Calls'? Usually these features should be there in Menu > Settings > Security. I want to buy this phone but need to know if these features are available. I can be reached at email@example.com. Thanks.
relly its a dinamic fone in this phone the camera quality is exillent & paranoma mode is unbleaveble picture quality
best camera phone i had ever seen in mobile phones better than sony and nokia 5 mp phones
Mathew, 18 Sep 2008the camera quality is too low to coopere with samsung g800Picture quality is superior than any other 5 megapixel phone, better even than N82. But video quality is very bad.
cellmania, 17 Sep 2008let's be objective, out of all cellphone with 5 mp namely,N95 n82 G810(samsung) U900soul all a... moreOk, thanks for the reply. Indeed, my definition of best camera is not as everyone's. I admit that the ZN5 wins in some imaging departments but loses in some as well. But at least it's more user-friendly than previous Motorola phones and can compete with even Symbian. The Linux-Java platform is just plain awesome.
Andy, 17 Sep 2008I have just bought this phone.....I think it is much like the mote8 and thats not always a goo... moreHi mate, how's the built quality as compared to your "cracked" E8? (LOL). I guess the ZN5 should feel better and more secure in hand as it's slightly thicker.
I agreed with you too on the Crystal Talk. Moto's not really pushing the Crystal Talk itself as a selling point. Went around phone shops, only encountered one guy who talks about Moto's Crystal Talk as selling point, he's using V9 and comparing that to his previous SE. So if any guys from Motorola's Phone Marketing Division reading here, please execute justice on your own phone. I believe a short video presentation in YouTube solely on CrystalTalk should be good for a start. I guarantee you I'll download it and email to my friends.
Stuart, 17 Sep 2008Yup, Crystal Talk is important. Like us, once you've used it, you would expect the same voice ... moreAbsolutely agree with your statement
"For those who have not tried this feature, they wouldn't know what we are talking about here. So it's a selling point for Motorola in the long run"
On the other hand, I do respect for some others who may think everything else on a phone is more than voice quality. Though sorry, call me old fashion, a phone is a phone, and how can a phone be called a phone when it can't even provide clear voice communication?
Sadly, the marketing dept of Moto doesn't seem to advertise its Crystal Talk function much over its competitors...
Can't wait to get an Zn5 myself. One more network service provider in HK may offer one at around USD$300..
