Mi3 was initially just $250 and can now be had for $200 or cheaper. By that comparison this phone is way over priced.
A Zte grand S2 which features similar specs to this phone can be had for as little as $200 while the upcoming Zenfone 2 with similar specs and expandable storage can be had for $200 too.
So yes Xiaomi did overprice this phone...

This Not... morer u serious?? look at the specs than talk... phone with similar specs, note 4 costs u more than double its price n u complain that it's overpriced?? get a life mate... though its not that premium to note4, still the price is worth of what they are selling under it...
