You have to break the phone to break the cameras particularly the front camera

BB user, 27 Feb 2015nah you're right 400 dollars is too expensive...unless you work for a high class companyWhat's wrong with purposely breaking the camera lens on the iPhone 6 (or any phone for that matter) or removing the module completely? Would that not suffice?

Great!!!! That good idea for non camera, I like it, it is basic for mobile phone. Now, all mobile giant design camera increase megapixel number as Samsung,HTC... bravo for Blackberry fan's.. If price is suitable,I will get it...
This is for people with real jobs. I believe the intended target was Boeing or Lockheed which has been under industrial espionage lately. But it will help in many other regulated industries as well. Sorry Android fanbois with no jobs don't understand this concept. BTW, BlackBerry handset division is profitable again, so that shows what all you haters know.
Seems like many of the people here have not worked in high security or sensitive areas where camera phones are a no go. Having a smart phone that is allowed in such areas is something you don't see very often and there are many who will pay good money for a decent smart phone. Most of the current android offerings are low tier hardware and not easy to find. As for apple, we had a non-camera iPhone 5 but it was discontinued so our options has become even smaller.
Please release this phone in India.
What? Phone with no camera?

If you don't like the phones don't buy them! The free market economy will ultimately decide whether there is a market for them regardless of what you think. People have a right to choose what they want - it is their personal preference. Nobody is trashing your choices, so why not show some maturity and respect their right to buy what they want. So much childish BS!
Sure, many corporate plans will include this kind of phone. This type of phone is a corporate target phone, not a consumer client device.
I guess that if you work as a stock boy at the piggly wiggly, security is not a concern and the classic is not for you. For those of us working in a regulated industry, this phone may be just what we need.
YES! People are that ignorant! I worked in R&D at a car company and had to leave my smartphone with security every time I went into the labs because my phone had a camera. BB is doing a great job and really knows it's users and it's market now.
Besides if a phone at stock does not have a very good camera or you just want a smartphone and that's all, it makes sense to order a variant /without/ one.
I actually wish this was more common with all brands across the board. Phones are a lot more modular now (no, not referring to ARA in this case).
Because you don't understand the security issues associated with having cameras on corporate or government issued devices in sensitive industries please hold this L. Hence why #yourallbroke
Good idea, but the price is ridiculous...
This is the endgame for BB
