LG offered a similar program for the G3 in India and other countries(possibly). However there was no time limit mentioned.

SDcards with phones, good thing from long time ago.
Now u can compare flash+sdcard memory with no-slot-phones...
(for someone that matters when buying phone)
As for me I would still buy 128/200GBsd....
