Motorola milestone is time magazine gadgets of the year 2009 & iphone was in 2007(old)
Pretty sure this will sell. The question is " Is this the turning point ? "
Motorola Droid/Milestone will sure generate nice sales because it is by far the best android device in the market. And if you compare it with n900, n900 is 80 Euro (150 $) expensive than it...
and there is very limited software compatibility...its like an alien in the market....theres no multitouch(which is a shame)...Maemo community is far behind....
Anyways goood luck both of them.
I only wish they could do better work on the design too. I like Motorola very much. My first handset was Motorola and still in good shape after 3 years or so. Everything else seems pretty attractive including the price. Good to see they have returned with a combo of smashing hits.
The droid, maemo, lingo and badas are from the same kernel LINUX, they are scattered and there is no funny software for them jet as you may enjoy symbians, so i don't think i em going for anyone of them, because the internet desktop quality i have it in symbian already, and sun will be similar flash player as it is on pc or maemo.
Used this phone with verizon.
pretty nice but hated keyboard.
[deleted post]you have so many complaint about MILESTONE. tell me then, what's your cellphone? is it better than MILESTONE?
good luck trying to get one off expansys. been on pre order a while yet no sign of getting it soon. their customer service is not very good either! as to the exclusive, gsmarena needs to do better research. play dot com have it listed as available on 21st dec. Expansys have a massive 10 day exclusive! Motorola played a blinder on expansys!!! Hope some people get theirs.

the battery life is better than compared to N900 they say...
it's lighter than the N900 too... more The DROID has been
estimated to have been sold in
over 700,000 units until now,
which means that the handset
vendor will be able to meet its 1
million units sold goal for the
fourth quarter of the year. Now
that the MILESTONE has reached
yet another European market, the
sales will certainly grow even
more.
