Update, September 12th, 2:15PM ET: A Google spokesperson says the incorrect map display was due to an error from one of the service's many mapping partners. It has since been fixed.

One of the more stupid blogs I have ever read... Of course sea levels are rising (about 1.5mm per year).... They have risen about 140 meters over the last 14 thousand years, which is why the great barrier reef used to be a mountain range connected to Australia.

This topic will probably be buried under the news in a few days, but the little that I checked for now seemed OK. I like how they addressed human pollution first, which is what bothers me personally more than climate changes because of sun cycles. Also, it could be said that "global warming" is an inaccurate, simplified term, and it should be more like "global extreme temperature changes" but people only go on about icebergs melting or growing - that's a normal consequence. It's a bit more complicated than just "it's getting hotter".
As for the rest, there's so much "reputable data" flying around. I'm not too worried about C02 as, for example, http://www.theregister.co.uk/2015/09/02/great_news_tree_huggers_your_woody_harem_is_much_bigger_than_thought/ we have more trees than we thought. CO2 isn't a poison. Other things we release, however...

My half a brain reading the data shows ice melting and water level rising. Don't really care how as we are certainly not able to stop it.

Nobody "with a brain" denies global warming, the only debate is about the cause, effects and course of action. Stick to whatever non-scientific worldview/country you belong to.

Global warming isn't a thing. Anyone with a brain would look at data and see that even with increasing CO2 gases, the earth can't warmed. Instead there has been a stall in the warming of the planet. Climate change is what you're probably meaning. The Arctic ice sheet had shown growth since the highest melt back in 2012.

                                        Stick to technology.

                                        Thank you.
