mc, 19 Mar 2010Wtf? Win phone 7 totally sucks, no multitasking tells it all it will be anotehr iphone with be... morenow that 8phone is working on version 4 update which will have multitasking. in version 3.1 8phone brought cut and paste.

so why the hel8 win7 doesnt have these features. what is wrong with microsof to advertise these lacks of features before its launch. why dont microsf learn from other companies mistakes. microsof is as narrow minded as SE they just dont follow the market. se was supposed to laucnch x10 and all its other versions they keep postponing its dates. when those features expire and go out of date then SE will launch X10 and others.

Sames goes with Win7, before its launch it will expire because it lacks the main features market is demanding at the moment.

So if it is an entirely new paltform which they are introducing i presume old win mobile applications wont work on the new phone 7!? So far, old win mobile versions gave the user a freedom to install whatever he wants and there are plenty of applications. And now some microsoft "guru" says: why we have to put windows in a mobile phone, instead we will develop totallt new piece of crap and make it look good while you are scrolling through the menus but when you actually try to open some applications at the same time this won't be possible. So a brand new device with 1Ghz/512ram would handle only 1 stupid app possibly while the mp3 player is working. microSOFT made the mistake to target their futire phone 7 os to the same people who buy their old win mobile phones and i bet they won't be happy given what they have right now.

mc, 19 Mar 2010Wtf? Win phone 7 totally sucks, no multitasking tells it all it will be anotehr iphone with be... moreYeah, you will need to keep a WM6.5.x device with you. That's what I am doing now with the T-Mobile HD2.

WP7 is made to claim back market share against *phone and Andro*d. There sure is a lot of improvements in the 7th version, but it is in a different platform and will have some restrictions for now.

From 1GHz, I predict my next jump will be to a multi-core phone. I am skipping the 1.5GHz battle.

Wtf? Win phone 7 totally sucks, no multitasking tells it all it will be anotehr iphone with better look. From what i have seen, interface is quite similar to the new zune player e.g. large windows and large fonts. It mainly focuses on integration with facebook/twitter etc.!? So, why we cant have 2 applications opened at the same time this is not an innovation actually it is exatly the opposite. Why we always have to integrate/synchronise contacts with facebook etc.. what if some of us don't want to integrate but instead want to use other applications office/games?

Nice to see an ad that demonstrates the FUN and social side of a phone rather than trying to sound techy or serious about it.

Anonymous, 19 Mar 2010Hey, why don't Apple sue Microsoft for the MiPhone... uh, I mean WP7! I'd like to see that.... moreWhy on Earth would they sue MS? Apple didn't invent the touchscreen ya know. There is really nothing similar in design to the iPhone other than a big screen. Apple should maybe take note of the hardware requirements set in place. I do however love how people throw out things like "iPhone clone" or instant "fail".....on devices they have never even been within 1000 feet of. This UI is very similar to the Zune HD UI and that's a very good thing. Zune HD is probably my favorite gadget that I own and I welcome it as part of a phone.

I think the family in the advert needs to get a life or a cure for there phone addition. I mean come on, playing soccer/football with your kid but with a phone in your hand. FFS.......
