(I have the tablet on a table supported with the kickstand, with a Logitech K810 keyboard on my lap. Very comfortable typing experience and ergonomically healthy.)

The Surface Pro 4 is the king of Premium devices. It beats Apple's Macbook and ipad Pro in almost every category. Its faster, has better resolution, is lighter and the build quality is actually better than Apple. All in all a great 2 in one with complete Windows 10 experience.
The prices are justified in my opinion if you compare it to other premium devices in its category.

Price are really high, so it was when LCD monitors came in and HDD/Pen Drives. After few years, they are much cheaper. These technologies are new and with time, it will become cheaper :)

considering the premium brand image they want to get and only want to compete with apple it can have a premium price. but still we never expected sky high prices. my dream deleted from memory . rebooting.
