It's a good idea to enable scan from long distance, but I have a little better idea for it.

AnonD-442781, 03 Mar 2016Google is secure though, and android is more secure than Apple. The problem is fragmentation, ... moreiOS cannot be hijacked via an SMS. Android can. Also lets pretend that's true, only 1% of users globally are on the latest version of Android. But meh all trivial, I suppose. We'll have to agree to disagree on this one bro.
AnonD-362866, 03 Mar 2016IF they manage to get the security right, this could be awesome... but this is Google / Androi... moreGoogle is secure though, and android is more secure than Apple. The problem is fragmentation, but the latest version of android is more secure than the latest version of iOS, even with it being as open as it is.
I don't get it... how hard is it to PAY? All they invent is just faster ways to get our money - not make our lives easier.
IF they manage to get the security right, this could be awesome... but this is Google / Android, meaning that is a VERY big if.
every day we are seeing every one spend half of there life with phone and laptops only. day by day features are increasing, no one was going for shopping, even frnds are together in whatsapp only, even people want see the landscapes on screen only. our future will become as Wall-E.
How lazy must must we be that we can't even get our mobile out of the bag.

I'm amazed at companies/manufacturers about why they don't allow the previous technologies to become matured/affordable/available enough and always seem to be into a race to bring something entirely new to the market first. This trend is crazy!! Earlier era was good when the technology used to last 5 or even 10 years.
Off topic: why the cardboard megnatic button doesnt work for my Nexus 6P. Not sure whether my device has a required sensor or not. If anyone has got a clue, kindly reply.
Thanks in advance!
Another problem with using moderate range radio waves for cash payments is the exposure to hackability. NFC is inherently safer than wifi and bt in this regard because of it's miniscule range.
