Surface Pro to go Main stream
1TB SSD has to come down to $100
Should support ARM processors
Windows 10 to hit billion-mark
Apps should run on Edge Tabs
developers should be able to control how their apps are run
in a windowed mode or in tabs
{i prefer to use facebook, youtube etc in Edge tabs than in a separate window}
For Developers advantage
Microsoft should consider to implement emulater in Edge Browser
which can run any apps [apk, appx or ipa files]
I waited for a year after the SP4 came out for competitors to create a good comparative machine for less, but none of them seemed quite as good as the Surface Pro 4. So I finally just bought a SP4 on a good deal and I've been loving it ever since. No regrets!

I have a Surface Pro 4 and it is very versatile, and trust me the surface pen is better the apple pencil. Also SP4 is a PC and not limited to the app store like an iOS and Android device. That is the beauty of Windows. If you look around, most premium Windows laptops, 2-in-1s, etc. from any manufacturer these days cost almost $1000 or more. This is a no compromise range, you get the cream of the crop with top notch displays, fast storage and chips, great build, and amazing battery life. So I do not see anything wrong with MS pricing a great capable device at this range.
Lately there have been several Surface Pro "like" devices from other manufacturers as well, but I would take a Microsoft device any day simply because the OS is always be best optimized for it and I wont have to rely on other manufacturers for firmware or driver updates which some companies are notoriously known to delay or drop support.

If anything compare it to the MacBooks which are ridiculously priced. Surface Pro 4 is a fully functioning PC which is super portable. Windows 10 and iOS is not an apples to apples comparison. iOS is for content consumption, whereas content can also be created with Win 10 on the SP4.
as long as surfaces are being priced similar to alienwares its not going mainstream like the ipad...i hate the iOS walled in system but had to go for it because of the ridiculous pricing of surfaces and unavailability of any note tablets flagships
Will never buy a Windows device ever... Windows 10 has already turned my laptop into a useless brick which won't even start. Microsoft is soon going to be biggest fall after Nokia and Blackberry.
So, buying a Surface Pro without the pen nor keyboard. So why do you want to buy one exactly? Or is it an admission by Microsoft that the common Surface Pro buyer don't actually use the pen? Regardless, you still have to pay extra for the keyboard.
