Sony will not provide warranty for Sony xperia x sold through Omnitech retail on flipkart as it is not authorized seller
Anonymous, 20 Feb 2017No bro. It was Xperia X not X performance.
Check out YouTube.
Its all about optimisation... Okay I saw the vid comparing HTC 10 and Xperia X. Two things:
1) HTC makes absolute crap phones. I mean, mother of god, my SD 800 Z Ultra launches apps faster than that.
2) Sony, as I already mentioned some time before, has one of the best UX out there. But just because it seems faster than 1 phone doesn't mean that it's faster than the others. Compare it against the likes of OnePlus 3 and Moto Z, and then we'll see whether SD 650 is actually faster than SD 820.
All that being said, Xperia X is probably the best stock performer with SD 650 out there. I just believe that investing in a flagship from Sony rather than an expensive midranger is the wiser course of action.
Anonymous, 20 Feb 2017I was talking about the glass and metal combination design that Samsung is using since s6. ... moreXz nope but Xperia x yes there was just difference of 10k in them I tried that at store compared with brothers note 3 and performance was similar btw note 3 felt more metallic than Xperia x to think that costs 25k

Sony's lcd are far better than Samsung's amoled
JordanBaby, 19 Feb 2017Plain stupid? I will not use custom ROMs because they don't make the phone better, at least no... moreFirst of all, all major custom roms are updated with every major security patch Google releases. I should know, since I am using one right now. Also, if by "polished" experience you mean the laggy, bloated trash most OEMs apart from Google offer then no thanks, I will stick to my custom rom. See here's the beauty of custom roms - they are completely bare-bones. They come with nothing preinstalled, not even Google services. You can add and remove stuff according to what you need, thus saving you from the hassle of putting up with preinstalled garbage from OEMs.
Secondly, SD 650 and 820 aren't in the same league. 820 uses Kryo cores which are way faster than the A72 cores used in the 650 and light years faster than the A53 cores also used in SD 650. Also, 820 has a much better GPU (Adreno 530) as compared to the Adreno 510 in SD 650. GSM Arena itself compared the phone's performance and it fell just short of SD 810. It wasn't even near to touching the scores set by SD 820. My suspicion is that you saw the reviews for the Xperia X Performance which is an entirely different phone and it uses the SD 820. Next time, no offence but read properly unless you want to come across as a moron.
Lastly, yes, Sony does have an excellent track record of updating its handsets. What you will notice, however, is that all these handsets were flagships. Sony never continuously updates its Midrange/low-end chipsets, as can be seen from their M, C and the recently released XA line. Therefore it is highly unlikely that Xperia X will be updated beyond android 8, unless of course Sony releases no more midrangers in the near future. As for Xiaomi, no you won't get any major software updates after the first 3. To be honest, I don't even like their interface, MIUI, because it is heavily bloated and full of useless stuff. But you see, here's the silver lining for most Xiaomi devices. Due to their low cost compared to the specs they have, these phones are immensely popular in developing countries and hence, have a huge developer base. As a consequence the latest Andorid always finds its way to these phones, either through aftermarket software such as custom roms or for the more traditional users, through community MIUI builds.
Overall I'll say this. Xiaomi devices are, for lack of a better word, instantaneous. They have specs way above their selling price, but they have trash build quality and lack any extra features whatsoever. You buy one for a low cost, use it for max. 2 years, and then buy another one and so on.
With a pricey Sony phone however, you would want to make a sound feature investment. Therefore, I personally would pay extra to buy a flagship from Sony (X performance/ XZ) which is guaranteed to have a chipset that will remain powerful for at least 5 years and of course guaranteed software updates, rather than a midranger like the X with an already dated chipset and with an uncertain future regarding software updates. In my personal opinion, investing in a midranger from a company like Sony is just not worth it but hey, it's just my opinion. If you believe otherwise, then all well and good for you and I resepect your opinion.
Anonymous, 19 Feb 2017What that brick looking thing when Samsung sells pebbles. None of them are particularly good i... moresamsung always listen to their customers.
when s5 was released, people complained about its Plastic quality, Then samsung changed it in s6.
People used to say "Lagwiz Laggy.. etc", then samsung made big improvement to their UI since S6. They even Developed graceUi.
Now people want less bezel, then they Will reduce the bezel on S7.
Sony?? Lol. they still stubbornly use Plastic, Big Bezel, Lcd, and Low speakers volume.
Sony never listen to customers.
But No One Will Buy This. Becoz there is sooooo many phones better than this under 15k.

I am sure you haven't used Xz yet. Its one of the most beautiful device out there and its much better while holding in hand unlike Samsung's gimmicky EDGE which just senses touch... 😁
Sorryplease, 19 Feb 2017Come out of your dreams. What a joke! Its not a joke. Google it..
Anonymous, 19 Feb 2017Don't forget. Samsung too copied that sony's design you are talking about What that brick looking thing when Samsung sells pebbles. None of them are particularly good in design but at least Samsung changed its design after criticism and s7 edge is one of better designed phones out there unlike Sony which forgot to pay it's designer and keeps asking for new designs and that guy just changes position of flash
JordanBaby, 19 Feb 2017XZ - top selling phone of Q4 2016 Ooppss.....Come out of your dreams. What a joke!

Lol. And one Sony fan is defending Sony that who care about 4k in this very comment section. So hey Sony fans, first get your sh*t together.lol.
JordanBaby, 19 Feb 20171. I have tried a Xperia X, recorded a 20-minute 1080p video and I got no overheating message.... moreDon't know what is so important about going with your phone underwater and most importantly, Sony says its just for peace of mind and recommend not to dip in water purposefully. Your point is bs.
JordanBaby, 19 Feb 2017Chinese fanboy XD None of those phones offer dual front-facing stereo speakers nor can play H... moreJapanese fanboy xd. Xperia x have dual front facing speakers, hi res audio and still can't match simple bottom speaker of mi5 in both clarity and loudness. Sony is all about fancy words like alkaleido, Bravia engine, hi resolutions and what not. People like you are still manipulated by those fancy words. Yes, dual front facing speakers are really good feature but xperia X can't match Mi5 in clarity and loudness NO JOKE. you can read Gsmarena review of both. People like us see real life importance rather than bragging about all those fancy words. And Yess, Sony fans say 1080p is way to go, 4k is useless, then they brag about z premium, then they brag about 4k video. Man, u got 32GB if storage, yes, it have SD card expansion, but still, everyone knows what is the size of a simple 2 minute 4k video, which still won't matter as you have got 1080p screen. Me, and all of my friends shoot 720p because it has smaller size and still gets job done. Still, if one wants a sharper video, you can go to 1080p. It can be recorded with better frame rates (if needed) and strain less on cpu and battery. Tell me how many times you record your picnic, friends and insta videos in 4k?and in big events, we simply have dedicated cameras.
