If GG3 better than GG5 it couldn't be the case. may be they could have performed with screen protector i think.whatever i just don't know much things about Gorilla glass versions but customers purchase whichever the glass is strong.

AnonD-147393, 31 May 2017Gorilla glass 3 for display main drawback. even in drop test it failed to perform.pls dont say... moreDon't talk about stuff you know nothing about.. All Gorilla Glass panels have slightly different properties, when it comes to the GG3 and GG5, I think LG made the right move and here's why... GG3 has more shatter resistance but slightly less scratch resistance because the panel isn't as brittle or tough as the GG5 which is great because its the worst thing in the world to have your display shatter due to a drop rather than having it get scratched and anyways with a device as expensive as that you'd install a tempered glass screen protector or any other protector to avoid that and LG knows it...
As for the GG5 back panel, it offers slightly greater scratch resistance in exchange for brittleness so that even if you're rocking your phone without a case, it isn't scratched as easily.. And plus, if you do drop the phone and shatter the rear panel, it should be far less expensive to replace it as compared to the front display panel...
Just because 5 is a higher number than 3 doesn't mean its better.. Next time do your research

AnonD-399271, 31 May 2017Waiting for Redmi Note 5 with Snapdragon 660 Dual Camera and 6GB RAM priced at 15K.Don't buy phones from such companies, you have no idea how they cut costs in their manufacturing process.. you'll understand only once you take the phone apart.. trust me, especially at that price point, you'd get some sketchy shit that wont be able to hold up in many aspects.. stick to the reputed brands..

Why are we paying $150 more over what the phone is worth in the states? LG, if you're listening and you really want people in India to buy your phones over the S8, drop the price down to $500 and then you'd hit that sweet spot where people just wouldn't be able to pass up on your offer.. We need a hell of a compelling reason to buy your phone over the competition.. step up your game, we know you'll get there eventually, why not do it sooner rather than later?

They should reduce price permanently to 35K to attract more consumers towards their phone.

They will eventually get it to as low as $499 and then tease the people who paid full prices for it. Just those Indian Market Launch Strategy things.

If you order outside from in $499 you have to pay 40% custom duty as make in India program plus penalty if it more than Rs 50000 . so it still be good deal what LG offering in India. Indian is more hungry for money now days plus they will keep the product with for atleast more than 20 days . sorry bit frustrated with this.
