FeederEater, 04 Aug 2017That's interesting. So you are not going to buy phones anymore? No, of course not.
The poster (and yes I agree with him) will be buying new in box V20 phones that have removable batteries and all these other features. These last of their kind phones will trade at a premium for many years in the marketplace. And so will the replacement batteries.
Anonymous, 04 Aug 2017Ugly as hellreally? so which phone do you consider beautiful? note 8 with its ugly back?
Anonymous, 04 Aug 2017You loved the G5's design hahahahahaWhy what is bad about the g5,it's unorthodox but the battery removal system was great as it gave an almost unibody like feel
Anonymous, 04 Aug 2017Yes, it's ugly. Bezels are useful. Anyway. Features > looks. That's why V20 remains the ... moreThe "best phone in the world" sure didn't sell very well despite the price dropping super fast in typical LG fashion.
Anonymous, 04 Aug 2017LG V30 is a very big disappointment. No removable battery = no buy. Curved screen = no buy... moreExactly! If everything that made V20 special, unique and useful is gone in favor of following "Shamsung TRENDS" of removing everything and making a block of glass - then I'm leaving the V - series the same way I left the Galaxy NOTE series (after NOTE 4) when they decited to get rid of the removable battery, IR Blaster, etc. It would be a real shame if that is the case. LG V20 was THE best phone.
ImJoaquinTheDog, 04 Aug 2017Ugly? How is having no bezels ugly?
If anything, it's really beautiful...Yes, it's ugly. Bezels are useful.
Anyway. Features > looks. That's why V20 remains the best phone in the world forever. Phones are supposed to be high tech tools, not ueless shiny fashion accessories.
LG V30 is a very big disappointment.
No removable battery = no buy.
Curved screen = no buy.
No bezels = no buy.
No IR blaster = no buy.
Glass back = no buy.
Even one of these is a deal breaker. This phone contains a lot of deal breakers. It is also true for all Samsung phones since the Note 4.
I really loved the V10 and g5 designs but since then lg has gone bland just like Sony who has since the Xperia arc.

If anything, it's really beautiful...
Anonymous, 04 Aug 2017"In terms of size, the V30 will be between the G6 and the Galaxy S8."
You mean between G6 and... moreNot quite.... The exact screen size of S8+ is 6.22".... If the width were to remain the same.... then a 18:9 display would measure 6.085".
V30's display would be around 1mm narrower than s8+ but around 6mm shorter.
