Sun Down, 01 Aug 2011At €150 I think it's a better deal compared to other ~€150 phones.150 BEFORE taxes.
And I'd rather spend a bit more and buy a good phone than waste 200 on this garbage.
if nokia had release this phone a year or two ago, this would have been considered a great phone, but now with all the competition out their with better features and designs, this is just a plain looking phone with nothing exiting to talk about.
Anonymous, 01 Aug 2011Update for the N8 is releasing this month. There is already a pink N8 running Anna. Grow some ... moreBahahahaha... "The update is being released this month".
WOW you guys are amazing, truly gold customers any company can only dream of, you will buy into anything...
"Update released this month" has been going on for almost a year now.
The update should've been out in December.... 2010!!!
Nokia: The update is coming in December. December comes... No, we'll delay it for a bit, it's coming in January now, January comes... No, no we meant February... Febuary... wait a bit more it's out in April... April, no May, May comes, no it's out in July... July is over... End of August...
^ That is Nokia.
Anonymous, 01 Aug 2011Update for the N8 is releasing this month. There is already a pink N8 running Anna. Grow some ... moreAre you new? Cod3rror has been a Nokia troll for quite a while. Probably an anonymous equivalent to Eldar Murtazin. Reasoning with this guy is useless. Lol first, reason later.
Sun Down, 01 Aug 2011The lag was due to the application, being WRT in nature. Code that in Qt, let's see the difference.Nokia will not code in the Qt...
You guys are really easily lead... what matters is the product you're buying now, not what it could be.
If you code it in the Qt it'll run faster, if you give it a dual core processor it'll run faster, up the RAM to 1GB and it'll be better, and just a bit more... add a more powerful GPU and that's it!
You know what all the above have in common? They are all dreams and fantasies what you will buy will be coded in WRT in nature. That's the fact.
Quit dreaming and look at what you are buying NOW.
Anonymous, 01 Aug 2011Finally someone with a brain in their head :)Lol, can you say the same thing to Cod3rror?
Cod3rror, 01 Aug 2011Yes, the N9, I'd love to pay $700 for a dead, experimental phone. N9 and MeeGo truly had a ... moreUpdate for the N8 is releasing this month. There is already a pink N8 running Anna. Grow some balls before continuing to argue. If you don't like Nokia, why bother reading their news. Do something productive and stop hating. You don't get paid by Google.

It has everything out of the box working, has the best UI, it's unique and it doesn't look like every other Android device in everyone's hands. N9 will live forever.
Eingild, 01 Aug 2011I used to be a Symbian/Nokia fan but seeing it lagging despite the 1Ghz processor on board for... moreThe lag was due to the application, being WRT in nature. Code that in Qt, let's see the difference.
Anonymous, 01 Aug 2011N9 in a month???Yes, the N9, I'd love to pay $700 for a dead, experimental phone.
N9 and MeeGo truly had a potential but Nokia being Nokia they canceled it.
N9 now is a DOA phone, no support, no ecosystem, no third party apps, it will be an unmanned tropical island. Nokia says they'll updated but it, honestly do you believe Nokia? Where is the update for the N8? Nokia does not update their phones, they just throw out hopes that make(well not that many any more) sucker buy into.....
"I'm going to get the N9 and Nokia said they'll keep it updated"
WRONG! They won't!
Anonymous, 01 Aug 2011Basing your judgement on one phone, and the worst effort of Nokia. Good job, try the N900 and ... moreLOL at N900... way to recommend him that.
Seriously dude, DO NOT GET the N900, it's a terrible phone, in fact all Nokia phones are absolutely dreadful.
However if you still must get a Nokia, get a N95 8GB, N82, N86. That's it. Those are the last best Nokia phones. And even they have production and quality problems... dust under N86's lens, N82's keypad is known to squeak, N95's wobbly slider.
CC, 01 Aug 2011It is actually embarrassing to watch Nokia slowly but surely flushing themselves down the toil... moreWhat have you suffered? You have the best phone ever produced, and that my friend is your N900 and not the GS2. I doubt you even own the N900 since you're saying disrespectful shit against it. N900 is 2 years old and yet it keeps up with dual cores.
