Is there a difference between unlocked versions? I want to ensure that I have band 12 and everything else needed for T-Mobile and VoLTE.

B&H no longer has the Xperia XZ2 Compact for preorder. At least I can't find it there anymore. Why does the U.S. always have to wait?

And if you really don't know the " low RAM problems" of the Xperia phone, then I guess you don't really need a high end phone anyway! I mean part of reasons for high end phone to exist is that we can play games ( and mobile game nowadays are like the 8 bit , 16bit game anymore, that can be pretty crazy).

Xperia high end only got 3GB of RAM, and most of the time the OS need 1 to 2 GB of it to running ( even when you don't have anything crazy running on the background, maybe I have too much background service running from other apps, maybe, I don't know. ) But, whenever my phone getting slow, I clear everything that I've opened and when I check the RAM, it's above 1.5 to 2.3 of RAM usage ATM.

I've been a xperia for years, from Z1s (T-Mobile) to Z3 ( still T-Mobile), to Xperia XZ. Sony's Xperia phone got the low RAM problem throughout these high end from one to another! Sometimes, even if you're not playing any games, there's a lag on opening app or switching app.

People mistaken me as a Sony hater, but the fact is I never thought of changing to other brand even when Sony's keep on disappointing me at this RAM problem.

If only Sony can really fix the RAM not enough problem and the easy heat up problem when you use their own camera. I'd happily use the xperia brand forever.

You might want to try Nintendo Switch. Do you know how much RAM Switch has? 4GB

Reason why Android needs more RAM is Google. So far they were unable to stop RAM leakage left and right. None of the contemporary mobile OSes (except webOS) were leaking RAM as much as Android does right now and that list includes MeeGo, Windows Mobile, Windows Phone and BlackBerry 10

Considering how ugly and thick ZX2 Compact is (not to mention no 3.5 jack) this phone should cost around 200 USD. Around the same price similarly looking Lumia phones were. But to be honest I doubt that anyone will buy XZ2 Compact even at this price. XZ2 is somewhat better but not much. Sony spoiled everything what they could spoil.
