I3leed, 05 Apr 2018Headphone Jack & at least a 3000 mAh battery is a must! Should be priced under 25k INR.whats the deal with 3000maH battery? What is needed is better battery optimisation. Xperia XZ1 phones with 2700 maH battery last way longer than phones with 3300 maH battery
Anonymous, 03 Apr 2018Snapdragon 625 is good enough for everyone! ;)Nah, It must have SD660 chipset, and SD 660 is faster than 2016 flagship chipset SD 820.
Don't forget South East Asian countries! I have the S8+ but the OS is ugly and feels laggy.

Should be priced under 25k INR.
As someone still mourning the death of the nexus 5 range I'd take a mid range mid sized pixel in the USA

GLAD ... at least now the bugs will be justified because of low price .. ROFL !!! ... go home google stick with developing software .. hardware is not your thing !!

There's ... morePrice hike is made by Indians?, Apple sells the least in China nd India, which are the two biggest markets in the world, in number of ppl using smartphones. Its just bcoz no big Oem actually manufactures their phones in India, which makes the cost go high, by importing them to India and custom duty taxes.
ProJames, 02 Apr 2018The reason why I cannot understand having so many devices is because I'm a Canadian. There's ... moreExactly. Apple is mostly bent on robbing Indians. They're considered premium brand in there and so They get away with it. Iphone x costed 1570 USD at launch in there. So there are bound to be companies selling 300-500 USD phones. Since selling phones made in India (in reality assembled in India)+ labour cost is much cheaper, brands flock towards here
Dilmeet, 02 Apr 2018Well said. Wish Google doesn't offer garbage at high price point again, calling it premium. It was a poor show last year. Hope the November launch is wrong for the Pixel 3. Phones thrown out at that time have very little time to grab mind share, before the next big processor is announced. I'm surprised the 2xl still commands such a high price when sold on contract. The smaller Pixel 2 xl is almost being given away at the moment. Almost cheaper to buy it new. Shame I can't get a 1 yr contract.
peachy001, 02 Apr 2018The pixel 2 phones were mid range phones, with top end cameras. The 2 had a heavily dated desi... moreI think that was one of the main reasons why Google bought their Hardware team from HTC. Now they will have complete control over hardware so we should be seeing alot of greate things happening............hopefullly
Anonymous, 02 Apr 2018Good move. But why not buy Motorola phone which is powered by almost stock android?Who? Google?
Did you forget that Google did actually bought Motorola, and then sell some of it to Lenovo?
nigerianprince, 02 Apr 2018Most of the phones are sold online, and not all brands' phones are sold at just one store even... moreYeah. It's much more cost effective. But I'd never buy a phone without seeing and trying it IRL first.
Anonymous, 02 Apr 2018Can say same for US too. Have you visited walmart or best buy? I've seen phones from 50 usd to... moreThe reason why I cannot understand having so many devices is because I'm a Canadian. There's only flagships and like 6 midrange phones being sold here. Sure, there's the ultra low end phones of the likes of Alcatel, BLU and RCA being sold here but it's not the samr thing at all.
And that price hike is only made by Indians. Apple sells it at the price people buys it. They'll sell it twice the US price if Indians let it happen
Knighfury, 02 Apr 2018Dude Many people in India are rich and buy flagship phones like iPhone , Galaxy , pixel , one ... moreOkay... but my point was about there are more than 15 brands of mobile phones with each having a selection of at least 5/10/15 different models. It's a mess no?

Glad to read your opinion but coming back to mid range Pixel, I wish Google does something good but wishes aren't true nowadays, isn't it?
