With SD435 you get 300 euro from Nokia but nothing better for that. I got Redmi Note 5 AI for 172 euro with a SD636 on it that is a good price for a device. Nokia have 100-200 euro just for the brand name plus. I have had most of my phones Nokias but they have nothing on there lineup that i would want and the hardware on there devices that i would like to have cost flagship price. 200 euro phone with something 5 inch screen size of a phone that seems to be Nokia 8 Sirocco will cost minimum 500 euro and thats much for me and i dont see a point of wasting money for some device i use for 2 years or 3. Nokia is now dead for me as they ask money but wont give nothing to return. Stock android where they dont do much to it even with updates. They dont even have good cameras anymore but only have the nice name for there lenses and thats about it. Unique of them is only high price and thats it.

S7 priced at $300 at the moment because of newer models being offered (S8, S8+, S9, S9+) and after subjected to depreciation through the years.
When it comes to initial launch price of a phone, the price will always rather high because of the newness, the need to cover the: R&D cost (the highest cost factor of a flagship), marketing campaign cost, press conference cost, and not to mention the retail display unit, retail team training unit and reviewer unit cost. When you put all those cost factor in one equation, you could understand why the price of a (flagship) phone could be high.
Anonymous, 04 Jun 2018Lol $300 for a flagship? The r&d alone would be more than that. Not really,if you noticed there has not been much research in the last 3 years just some minor improvements. The Galaxy s7 is pretty relevant today.
The best proof of overpaid designers. Worse they themselves don't even realize it. And has the audacity to boast about it online, as if they have actually designed something.
It looks very normal.
They should've moved the camera hump down a little, looks weird up there so close to the top edge.

I want HMD Nokia to heed my prediction that the Nokia 9/10 will have a,
1. Thick Series 7000 Aluminum unibody to accomodate the likes of the huge sensors (no glass phones please),
2. Has Penta or Triple cameras all with OIS and EIS
2.a Has the best sensors on the casual cameras (IMX 363 or better) and a sensor that can take 41mp photos (lesser provided oversaturation, more personal customization)
3. A headphone jack (should sound sound better than their XpressMusic from a decade ago)
4. Cost almost double the Manufacturer's price (I hope it costs $300 to make that)
I'm really waiting for a real flagship from Nokia because unfortunately currently they're a little behind (for example - Sirocco has outdated 835 chipset and I don't care if it's capable or not - it's just from yesteryear, I won't pay premium price for a phone without premium components). Sirocco also lacks optical image stabilization in the camera what is a must-have in a flagship device. Nokia also doesn't have 3.5 mm audio jack.
What is a big pro-Nokia factor for me is their pure Android experience - this is what I'm missing when using Galaxy phones and hope Nokia will stick to it.
Gee, 04 Jun 2018This is not the Nokia i was looking for (It's running android), move along nothing to see here... moreThe former Nokia heads are leading HMD so it could still counts as the Nokia we may know recently (not the ones we knew decades ago [not sure if Juho was there during their prime]). They have something for us to see so we'll watch them grow and ignore your command.
[deleted post]running ANDROID is much more better than diying with WINDOWS. give them some time to get to a place and build some trust from the old NOKIA fans and do somthing great agin. now they need time ,trust and of course MONeY. for now they are doing amazing job with the TRUST part and providing timely UPDATES
The Banana phone is going to become the thing of legend.

Sirocco was codenamed "Avenger". Cool!
I hope they will make another unique design to attract customer this time, if they want to regain their position.
This is the NOKIA i have been waiting for. they have a excellent line up of smart and f phones for all the ranges. LOW MID AND PRE. NOKIA 7Plus is a great phone with really good camera for the asking price. and they update phone really really fast, my phone runs android 8.1 like a champ and promised an update to ANDROID P by NOKIA. so im really happy with the phone and the money i spent is worth it. so if anyone who planing to buy a NOKIA worry you are in good hands.
