No Name, 03 Jul 2018If you want a big device, why not get the cellular Mi Pad 4 instead of this? Better processor,... moreStupid comment. The tablet is too big for pockets, the Mi Max 3 is not.
Many people in the world travel with their phone on their body and not in handbag or in hand and therefore a phone with a screen of 7" is perfect and you won't see a phone go much beyond this.

I can't wait for the Mi Max 3 Pro.
I keep reading comments this phone is too large. BS
I bought the first Samsung Galaxy Note and people told me I was crazy. It had a 5.3" screen!!
People told me I was crazy when I bought a Samsung Mega (6.3" screen), now many phones are bigger than that.
People told me I was crazy when I bought the Mi Max 2 (6.44" screen) and it fits into my pockets, it is easy to use and not tablet like at all.
The reason tablets are going away is they are not really portable (not for back pocket on motorbike for example) and large phones kill two birds.
EVERYONE will be using a smartphone with a screen bigger than 5.5" by 2021 and most people will be using a 6" or bigger phone!!! Take that to the bank.

If you want a big device, why not get the cellular Mi Pad 4 instead of this? Better processor, even bigger display, bigger battery and cheaper.

Probably going to be priced the same (1699 yuan) for the base model (4G/64G)... with the upgrades being larger display (in similar size), better processor (SD636), and the infinitismal camera quality upgrade.

In India, however the launch price may increase as the Yuan/rupee exchange rate has worsened in the past year. For the same reason, the Redmi Note 5 pro (1399 Yuan) was also increased from 13,999 to 14,999 after launch. I expect it to launch here at 18k if the price in China is 1699 yuan.
