Lul, Huawei already releasing 7nm chipset this fall...
Sammy is a year late
ever since 180nm, process nomenclature doesn't mean anything, because each manufacturer has different gate length, node height, pitch, etc. a better comparison would be the MTr/mm², with TSMC's 7nm actually perform better than Intel's faulty low yield 10nm

Aren't we afraid now to go beyond our limits??
Yes you don't need this and that today, but later on you'll do, and the effort of manufacturers into giving them to you is highly appreciated.
"We don't need 3GHz, 2GHz is enough" in 2018 sounds like "We don't need 2GHz, 1GHz is enough" back in 2015, which also sounds like "We don't need 1GHz, 512MHz is enough" back in 2008.
Anonymous, 05 Jul 20183 nm. Sorry MoorePhone soc say 5nm is not real 5nm compared to intel is like 8nm or 10nm.
There is no need for 3ghz soc. 2ghz is more than enough. They should focus on more power savings rather than increasing clock speed.
3 nm. Sorry Moore
Samsung can produce new DDR 5 Ram module to replace DDR 3 n 4? Although soc r fast n efficient!
